Hello Hive Travelfeed Community,
About my journey
Yesterday, I left my former state, Osun State (Ile-Ife), where I was actually born and brought up. The entire journey was a mix of emotions, stress, and excitement. I have lived in Osun State for over 20 years, so leaving was a significant and emotional moment for me. I went to school in Osun state, did my primary, secondary and Higher education there as well. Though I'm actually still a student, I am not done yet. Now, I'm really excited to relocate to Oyo State and start a new chapter.

When it happened
I was already feeling mixed emotions because I was really thinking about how things are going to be when I get there. I mean being an introvert, I don't easily relate with people like that, so I was a bit anxious. The most interesting part of the journey, was when a patrol police officer stopped us. I didn't travel with the public transport because arrangements had been made for a sienna car to come and help me pack the load. You won't believe what this police officer was saying!. After checking the car documents, which were complete, instead of letting us go and just asking us if we had anything to offer him, he started asking for the documents and receipts for my TV, speakers and even my mum’s sewing machine that she’s been using long before I was born. It was such a funny and strange moment 🤣 😄. Well, thankfully, another senior police officer came by and told us to leave in peace. Nigeria police officers are always with trouble here and there, I actually don't blame the other police officer

How it feels to change environment
Changing my environment feels surprisingly refreshing. I mean have really spent my whole life in Osun State, so moving out feels like stepping into a new chapter of my story. Even though this isn't my first time coming to Oyo State. I've visited twice before but this third time is different. This time, didn't just come visiting. I'm staying. Honestly, I haven't travelled to many places in Nigeria. Except for Osun State, I've only been to Lagos, Ekiti and Ibadan. I've tried a bit 😅. Each place taught me something new, but this move to Oyo feels like the biggest step yet.

I also bought some new engineering work tools with me. No matter where I go, that part of me follows, the part that loves opening devices, fixing things, and bringing "dead" gadgets back to life. So if anyone here has broken phones or devices, at least I am ready for them. Grateful to God for journey mercy, and I really hope to enjoy my stay in Oyo State.
