Travel to mysterious land part 1

in TravelFeed4 years ago

Bedini Bugyal is a Himalayan Alpine meadow, situated at hight 3354 metres in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state of India.

Bedini Bugyal falls on the way to Roopkund near Wan village. Trisul and Nanda Ghunti are visible from here. This lush green meadow is adorned with blooms in a wide range of varieties. There is a small lake named Vaitarani (Bedini Kund), situated amidst the meadow. The rich flora of the area includes 'Brahm Kamal' or Saussurea obvallata. These are one of the largest grasslands in the world.

Sharing my part of the adventure when we crossed these grasslands and went to whole up to the Roopkund
