I really love vacations. After all, on vacation I have much more time to travel. I love to travel. I always say that the road is life. I like to visit different countries, cities and ordinary villages. Thanks to travel, I meet new people, learn about the culture and customs of other peoples, discover something new and interesting. My special love is the mountains. And recently I really liked to visit various castles, palaces and ruins. Today, my friends, I invite you to visit with me the interesting palace of the Esterhazy family. Are you ready for a virtual tour? Then let's start. We turn on the engine of our car and move to a small Slovak town called Galanta. In this city is the estate of the Hungarian aristocratic family - the Esterhazy family.

This palace is the pride and symbol of the city of Galant. Around the estate is a large and cozy park. Many people, both locals and guests of the city, always walk in this park. The area around the estate is very clean, tidy and well-groomed. Imagine that this building was built in the 16th century. Several times there was a reconstruction and a small update. But in general the palace is in very good condition and condition.

At the moment, the front facade of the house is being restored. By the way, all funds for the maintenance of the palace, the museum in it and the reconstruction are allocated by the city. In general, in Europe, such architectural monuments are highly valued. The authorities and the people themselves are trying to preserve the outstanding monuments of our history.

Behind the palace is another entrance. Here we can also see a neo-Gothic gate and a fountain with drinking water. This gate was built by Count Josef Esterhazy in 1861. Even before the palace began to look as we see it today, there was a castle of the late Middle Ages. He was like that for two centuries. Already in the 18th century, when the Turks were expelled, the castle was rebuilt into a palace.

To date, ceremonial events are held in the basement of the palace. The palace also hosts permanent exhibitions and performances. Anyone can visit the palace and performances. Entrance ticket prices are very symbolic. For example, children under 6 can visit the castle for free, children under 16 and pensioners for 0.50 eurocents, and adults for only 1 euro. There are also performances that are completely free. Welcome to Slovakia.And here is the address: Slovakia, Galanta, Parkova Street 760.

Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.

Přiznám se, že o Galantě jsem před tím neslyšel, ale vypadá moc hezky. Nádherná architektura :)

@tipu curate

Ďakujem mnohokrát. Galanta sa nachádza v juhozápadnej časti Slovenska. Z Bratislavy do Galanty je to asi 60 km.

Ďakujem pekne 🤭

Opravdu nádhera. A vstupné skoro zadarmo.

Ahoj. Ďakujem mnohokrát. A čo urobil zle?
