Morning cross training followed by easy 6k run

in BusyBees9 days ago

Beautiful sunrise again today for 45 minutes cross training entertained by bird calls from a bird not heard or sighted in the area previously making different calls

Whilst laying on my back for cycle crunches, I took a photo of the clouds which was so relaxing to distract me from crying abs.

Following cross training, I jogged 6k of the Redcliffe foreshore and witnessed a Pelican following in a kayak fisherman to the boat ramp. Pelicans are so cunning they know where they might feast of bait or fish frames from fishermen.

A whale watching tour operates from the Redcliffe jetty during the humpback whale migration season but must not have been operating today as the boat was moored at the Jetty

I'm fortunate to live within a short drive of the beach and agree there is always something different to capture my attention

I expect there's always something to see by the sea. I don't get to the coast too often. Have fun.

Coolum launch was a surprise as no one I know had prior knowledge which would greatly please parkrun HO. The RD at Burrum Heads said she thought HO would let us statesmen know 😲🤭🫢🤭. I am heading there this coming parkrunday as I have commitments for the next 9 weeks including 3 flights to Newcastle, 1 to Canberra and 1 to Melbourne

Nice sunrise photo. I see there is a new Coolum parkrun on the sunshine coast. That launch seems have been kept pretty quite.
