Following on from my previous post StreetArt #774, let's continue discovering some painted garage doors in Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district. With the sunny weather on its way, I'll soon be able to get back on my bike to work and discover some StreetArt on the way. But first, I wanted to share the photos I took last year.

Avec les beaux jours qui s'en viennent, je vais bientôt pouvoir reprendre mon vélo pour aller au travail et ainsi découvrir des œuvres de StreetArt sur le chemin. Mais avant, je voulais partager les photos prises l'année dernière.

All these garage doors were located in the same alley in Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district.

Cielle Graham
We begin the 9th post on painted garage doors in Montreal, with these birds done by Cielle Graham, a French artist and illustrator born in 1987 and now based in Val-Morin in the Laurentians (Quebec) (source ciellegraham.com). Looking at her Instagram, I don't think she's done much StreetArt. It's a shame, because this set of birds is truly magnificent.
Nous commençons le 9ème post sur les portes de garage peintes de Montréal, avec ces oiseaux peints par Cielle Graham, une artiste et illustratrice française née en 1987 et maintenant installée à Val-Morin dans les Laurentides (Québec) (source ciellegraham.com). En regardant son Instagram, je ne pense pas qu'elle a fait beaucoup d'oeuvres dans la rue. Dommage car cet ensemble d'oiseaux est vraiment magnifique.
Scribe
Riding down the same alley, I found two works by an artist I hadn't seen for some time, Scribe, a self-taught artist and member of the CSX crew. It's been a while since I've seen a new work by him, so I don't know if he's still active or even based in Montreal. I miss his zany universe, but it's a good thing his old murals can still be seen in Montreal.
En descendant la même ruelle, j'ai trouvé deux oeuvres d'un artiste que je n'avais pas vu depuis quelques temps, Scribe, artiste autodidacte, membre du collectif CSX. Comme cela fait quelque temps que je n'ai pas vu une nouvelle oeuvre de sa main, je ne sais pas si il est toujours actif ou basé à Montréal. Son univers loufoque me manque, heureusement que ses anciennes murales sont toujours visibles à Montréal.
Unknown artist(s) for these two garage doors. Both drawings are successful with this camera and this bicycle (which I really like with the birds flying out of their cage). I couldn't find anything about them despite the indication Les Jardins Valet on the camera 🤔.
Artiste(s) inconnu(s) pour ces deux portes de garages. Les deux dessins sont réussis avec cet appareil photo et ce vélo (que j'aime beaucoup avec les oiseaux s'envolant de leur cage). Je n'ai rien trouvé à leur sujet malgré l'indication Les Jardins Valet sur l'appareil photo 🤔.
Astro
And we end this series with Astro whose style you may recognize if you follow me. He's a Montreal-based illustrator who likes to create quirky but fun characters. This door is particularly successful thanks to the color palette chosen.
