ATTENTION! ILLEGAL POSTER

in StreetArt3 years ago

hier ist die deutsche version.

that´s the message on the poster. normaly posters are legal if someone has paid for them and thus received permission to put them up. even though it is never called that, of course, it is smear money. on the one hand, because money makes it possible to con people in public spaces and, on the other hand, because the city, by receiving this money, does not actively take action against these posters as it does with those that have not been paid for. posters are also used to advertise many reprehensible products and actions. here is an article about an exhibition that is advertised in public space. the posters used for this are legally (i.e. with permission) in public space. these advertise with the pictures of an artist who acts self-authorized in the city. however, the artist and author of these works does not receive a cent. his works were practically stolen. accordingly, it is allowed to advertise in public space even for commerce with theft. the endless lies (e.g. consumption data of car manufacturers, ...) that can be found on the majority of posters will not be discussed here.
in the case of the poster on the photograph, no bribe money was paid. therefore, the poster got to this place by self-authorization of the artist. this illegal act is directly communicated by the poster.
unfortunately the artist does not know the thoughts of the passengers. but it would be interesting to know if the viewer feels disturbed by this poster. every now and then there are actions against self-authorized art in public space, käpt'n kalle had to realize this already many times. the simple head of a sailor seems to provoke again and again. but actually it is far from him to drive people to anger. he would much rather provoke people to think, to deal with the aspect of the design of public space. it is time that people think about who should have the right and the possibility to hang slogans in public space.

Perfect place for the Käpt'n

thx for your comment and the Käpt'n is allways looking for a nice spot.

The Käpt'n Kalle is better than any ad... These spots should be reserved for artists. Thanks for sharing this pic on The StreetArt Community.

that´s an awesome idea. make the tram to an art gallery.

Make a city an art gallery... We need to think big 😀
