Mis hermanos y yo somos fanáticos de Los Simpsons desde hace años, por lo que, el día en que me di cuenta de que alguien había hecho un mural de El bar de Moe, un lugar icónico en la serie, me planteé el hecho de tomarle fotos algún día (la primera vez que lo vi, iba en un autobús). Ahora que estoy residenciada en el Este de la Ciudad de Barquisimeto, en Venezuela, he descubierto el lugar exacto en donde queda dicho mural, cumpliendo así mi deseo de fotografiarlo ¿Y qué mejor momento para mostrarlo que a través de éste pintoresco concurso?
Hi everyone! My brothers and I have been The Simpsons fans for years, so the day I realized someone had made a mural of Moe's Bar, an iconic place in the series, I considered taking photos of him one day (the first time I saw him, he was on a bus). Now that I am living in the East of the City of Barquisimeto, in Venezuela, I have discovered the exact place where this mural is, thus fulfilling my desire to photograph it.And what better time to show it than through this picturesque competition?
Para quienes han visto la serie, notarán que no sólo el artista JHOANN MIRANDA dibujó al personaje de Barnie ebrio en la barra, sino también que incluso el probador del amor que sale en un corto llamado "El abue-matico del amor". Todo dibujado desde un plano general, para que el espectador, sienta la sensación de que está dentro del bar. Lo mejor de todo, es que frente al mural hay una licorería, los cuales, son los responsables de la financiación de dicha obra. Según lo que se puede apreciar, el mural fue realizado en el 2020
For those who have seen the series, you will notice that not only the artist JHOANN MIRANDA drew the character of Barnie drunk at the bar, but also that even the love tester that appears in a short called "The Love-Matic Grampa". All drawn from a general plane, so that the viewer feels the sensation that he is inside the bar. Best of all, is that in front of the mural there is a liquor store, which are responsible for the financing of said work. According to what can be seen, the mural was made in 2020
Para poder tomar las fotografías, tuve que ir dos veces al sitio porque la primera vez que fuimos, habían muchos hombres en el lugar, ya que, suelen comprar en la licorería y se ubican a tomar enfrente, sentados en donde está el mural, hay incluso quienes traen sus propias sillas, lo que le da un toque cómico, porque dan la alusión de formar parte del dibujo. Inclusive, vimos una riña entre dos hombres que estaban a punto de irse a los golpes, evidentemente pasados de tragos. Al lado del mural, se encuentra otro con el nombre de la licorería y un dibujo de Homero y Marge, con artículos que venden en el local. Lo que me gusta de éste, son los detalles que el artista se enfocó en retratar, como la etiqueta de la botella que sostiene Homero.
To be able to take the photographs, I had to go to the site twice because the first time we went, there were many men in the place, since they usually buy at the liquor store and take a drink opposite, sitting where the mural is, there are even those who bring their own chairs, which gives it a comic touch, because they give the allusion of being part of the drawing. We even saw a fight between two men who were about to beat themselves up, obviously overdrinking. Next to the mural, there is another with the name of the liquor store and a drawing of Homer and Marge, with items sold locally. What I like about this one are the details that the artist focused on portraying, like the label on the bottle that Homer is holding.

Sin lugar a dudas fue algo ingenioso de parte de los dueños de la licorería, mandar a realizar aquel mural y ubicar quizás sin darse cuenta, el lugar favorito de sus clientes para echarse unos buenos tragos. Hasta mi hermana @maisugar (quién es la más fanática de los Simpsons entre nosotros) no pudo resistirse el tomarse una fotografía como toda una asidua cliente del bar je je

Undoubtedly, it was something ingenious on the part of the liquor store owners, to send that mural to be made and to locate, perhaps without realizing it, the favorite place of their clients to have a few good drinks. Even my sister @maisugar (who is the most fanatic of the Simpsons among us) could not resist taking a picture as a regular customer of the bar heh heh
