A Cruel Destiny.

After we taught the spies of Kjotve a good lesson last time, now that we have support from king Harald, its high time we finish off Kjotve and avenge the death of Eivor's parents.

We were in Florli and there were Sigurd and Guthorm in that tower planning how their attack. I needed to speak to Sigurd first so we can go on the war.

As soon as I reached them, Sigurd was saying that Eivor missed the opening act as Kjotve's forward camp melted like a spring thaw at their approach.

Guthorm was saying that they're ready to fight as King Harald's forces were well in place and just needed the word. Sigurd was saying that he has a request before they strike which is Eivor may give challenge to Kjotve at the gates of his fortress which would be a battle to the death in single combat.

Then I got these options to choose where I could ask for more times before attacking Kjotve but on, I was ready so let's end Kjotve.

After the meeting, they came below the tower. There were Basim and Hytham below the tower and Basim wanted to talk to Eivor.

Eivor said he found it strange that Basim and Hytham is fighting with them even after its not their fight but Basim replied that their clan, the hidden ones have been fighting with Kjotve's Order for centuries.

They started getting ready for the war and then started rowing their warship towards Kjotve's fortress.

I didn't have to row the warship as it was all in the cinematic part and when we were at Kjotve's fortress, Norse Warriors were cheering Kjotve by shouting with his name.

And this is the moment when Eivor challenged Kjotve for the battle to the death in single combat and the battle began.

I was trying to access the photo mode but it was not working in this battle and I got distracted which drained the whole health of Eivor. It was like Eivor didn't die but he was in a dream and Odin was asking him to get up as the fight hasn't ended yet.

I got to fight again but I was trying to access the photo mode again and takin that chance, Kjotve killed Eivor for good this time.

Coming back at the checkpoint, I didn't give much chances to him to attack me as I kept dodging when he was attacking and I drained a good amount of his health in a short time and he brought me down in that battle arena.

Hytham jumped and tried to assassinate Kjotve noticing Eivor was losing even after Eivor said before that Kjotve should be his kill but the newly recruited assassin failed it.

I thought this man would be so tough to take down but it seemed so easy for me to take him down.

When I was finished killing him, I was taken to somewhere which looked like an illusion and then I found out that its the the special place where assassin's talk with their prey after they kill them.

And there, I found Odin and then Kjotve. There Kjotve was talking disrespecting Eivor's father and Odin was using his spear to torture him and at last Eivor took the spear and used it to do a fatality death of Kjotve.

There came Raven out of Kjotve's mouth taking something out and gave it to Eivor.

The king was dead but there was still his son Gorm and their warriors so the war didn't end.

Archers kept firing arrows towards us and their gate was locked from the other side which we couldn't open from this side.

Our peoples set a ladder on the wall so I can go up and open the gate for them and started climbing it without thinking twice.

After going inside, at first I killed a lot of them myself and then I opened the door for the rest of my team to go inside and fight others.

After killing a lot of Norse Soldiers, I had to open one final gate where Gorm was hiding and after opening the final gate, I kept killing the Norse Soldiers but more I was killing, more were coming so I left them for my warriors.

And I had to confront Gorm has holed up in the temple there. Found Gorm after going inside the temple and he said some bold words when he was on that upper place.

But when I climbed up there, I didn't find him as he escaped this fortress riding a horse like a coward.

Our assault on Kjotve's fortress was completed in that one night and there came a new day. I guess daytime in this game gives me good graphical views than night.

This fortress became ours now and I noticed our warriors were cheering and I tried to take a part in that.

Then before I stopped playing, I called Raven to have a good look of the entire place and this place looked really big and really good.

I really like the raven. It's like having a drone. Really cool.

The raven is really useful for scouting out locations, marking enemies, and planning my approach to various challenges. And I like it most for that cause that its like having a drone that gives me good footage.

Yup! Eyes from the sky..

It looks like Ubisoft did better on this game after trying some garbage (I'm talking about the previous two installments that seemed so boring). The birds eye view on the last picture looks cool.

I totally agree with you. I loved 1, 2, 3, 4 installments and I didn't try Rogue which is also good I guess but later I tried origins and odyssey and I stopped playing them after certain tries.

Sorry, you got killed trying to access the photo mode. The image where you're attempting to assassinate by jumping looks cool and I think the most thrilling image is where a crow comes out of a character's mouth. Most importantly, most of your pictures as pretty good capture angle. I guess it's the result of using the photo mode. I liked the last image most as a photographic view of the area.
Thanks for sharing. Good luck on your journey ahead.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the shots but you got it wrong about me trying to assassinate by jumping. That's actually not me, that's Hytham, an assassin who came to help us.

Oh, my bad for misunderstanding it.

how impressive it is to see how the crow comes out of the mouth.

To be honest, I didn't expect to see that scene.

Wow my dear friend you are doing well ❤️‍🩹💞💞 i love all these shots.

Thank you so much. Its great to know that you enjoyed the shots.
