While I was investigating a well near Sobek's pool, I found a bloody priest's robe and a note revealing a plot to poison the crocodiles. I tracked the commands to Melina the Hibiscus at the Neorion Naval Arsenal. After a failed assassination attempt on the sleeping target, I was forced to flee the heavily guarded site.
When I was investigating the second pool in the temple of Sobek, I noticed blood stains trailing toward a dark corner. I had to use this narrow well to get to the stained dark place beneath the temple structure.
I noticed I was on the other side of the pool where Sobek was resting, safely tucked away from the public eye. Then I found a discarded priest's robe which was covered in fresh blood, which said whoever was wearing this was badly injured or worse.
The blood trail led outside to the east of the temple. I called Senu and located the injured person from high above, and then I went outside.
I ran to the spot and found a dead body of a soldier who was mauled by crocodiles. The soldier had a note that had commands about how to poison the crocodile to manipulate the village's faith.
And this was the man who poisoned the crocodiles, who was taking orders from Melina the Hibiscus, a name that carried a weight of corruption.
Now I had to assassinate Melina the Hibiscus, who was hiding at Neorion Naval Arsenal, which is south of Krokodilopolis. I rode there and once close, I flew Senu to locate her among the soldiers.
The arsenal was heavily guarded with strong patrols of elite soldiers. I decided to go around the exterior and find an easy way to assassinate my target without alerting the entire force.
I noticed the target had stopped somewhere, so I climbed up on the walls and I found my target was having a nap.
It was the perfect opportunity for a silent strike, as the nearby guards were occupied with guarding that area.
I put the hidden blade inside her with a swift lunge, expecting the job to be finished then and there. However, she somehow survived the initial strike and escaped the area right away, screaming for help.
So I had to move towards my target as she was not coming back to her original spot. After avoiding the sights of some soldiers who were patrolling below, I started moving through the roofs and walls.
Unfortunately, an archer on my way saw me as I didn't know he was there. He loosed an arrow toward me that I blocked, and I had to escape right away as I didn't intend to go for a deep fight. As there came more of them to look for me, I dived into the water below, knowing that I would have to find another way to finish the hunt.

That was a lucky escape for Melina. She must have some high-level armor for this but I noticed she was not wearing any armor at all. So, she's just lucky, I'd say.

Interesting Gameplay. That failed stealth kill was intense. Everything was set up perfectly, and then suddenly it turned into chaos when she survived and called for help. It was really unpredictable.
The plan was flawless right up until the target decided not to cooperate.
