There came a time when Mr Shittu was due for marriage and he saw this beautiful lady with whom he went into courtship. She bears Miss Angel.
Miss Angel is a beautiful damsel who is blessed with beauty, everything that would qualify a woman's beauty was intact. Mr Shittu who was ready for marriage saw her and asked her hand in marriage not knowing she was a marine spirit.
Mr Shittu did not conduct in-depth underground research about this lady, like asking people in the community, family, and friends about the kind of person the lady was. Mr Shittu went to her because of their physical appearance and adornment. He didn't seek the lord or ask questions about this lady to know if he was going in his direction as is demanded by everywhere man and woman in this process as it would help in the future.
Unfortunately, he settled down with this lady, they became husband and wife and they got to enjoy themselves. This is the reason we need to be in a relationship before moving into marriage fully. Relationships will reveal people's character, it will help you to know the likes and dislikes of others and most especially character or trait of the man or woman, to determine if you will be able to cope with him or her in the journey.
Mr. Shittu made a great mistake, on his side he is a worker in the Pentecostal church, "The Redeem Christian Church of God". Sunday morning came and Mr. Shittu got ready for service as his usual routine on Sundays and their thanksgiving. After bathing and wearing his clothes, his newly wedded wife was still in bed sleeping. He tapped her on the back and said, Beauty, get up and prepare for church. She turned to and fro on the bed and said to her husband, "I don't do church things", the husband thought it was a joke, and he offered a smile on his face and said again, 'Babe prepare let's go, time is going. Miss Angel, now Mrs Angel told her husband boldly, that she was not coming. Her husband was amazed by her response. Mr. Shittu asked her, why. She said she doesn't like prayer and when they mention, God or Jesus. He responded, there is nothing wrong with the name of Jesus, he screamed and she ran out of the room. Her husband was perplexed by the drama, Angel 😂. Hilarious!
Mr. Shittu did not check inward of her but outward of her. Yeah, he can pray, but some things do not respond to prayer especially if it is done in the wrong way or without seeking advice. Or the prayer would take time before it is effective. He realized that she was possessed by a marine world, and he shed tears. He said I can't go back. They stay away from the church and she says something that amazes her husband. Her husband was furious about what was happening. The wife told him to leave for church and that she wanted to have a meeting with her marine people in his room.
The husband knelt on the floor and shouted the name of Jesus and the wife ran out of the room, shouting I don't like the name. Right here, things were not going normal in their marriage. Mr. Shittu who happily settled for a beautiful damsel became angry that he made this choice as a believer. He was pissed off. Many things went wrong because the wife turned the house into a marine center.
Overall this story taught me a lesson that as a woman I should check my character and be a blessing and favor to my husband.
