A couple of years ago, one of the most important media in Venezuela was the newspaper and from there is where everyone could find out the news that happened in the day to day, here at home we always bought the newspaper and we got to have many old periods, where some of them had very information and that happened to us with one especially for the year 2010, since in that year there was an article related to the first soccer school that together with my brother and I participated a couple of years there, so by that time the article was to inform that a minor soccer tournament was starting and it is really a great joy to be there and see how my name is reflected in a newspaper article for that year.
Hace un par de años, uno de los medios de comunicación más importante en Venezuela era el periódico y de allí es donde todo el mundo se podía enterar de las noticias que pasaban en el día a día, aquí en casa siempre se compraba el periódico y llegamos a tener muchos periodos viejos, donde alguno de ellos contaban con muy información y eso nos pasó con uno en especial para el año 2010, ya que en ese año salió un artículo relacionado con la primera escuela de fútbol que junto a mi hermano y yo participamos un par de años allí, así que para ese entonces el artículo era para informar que comenzaba un torneo de fútbol menor y de verdad que es una gran alegría poder estar allí y ver cómo mi nombre sale reflejado en un artículo de periódico para ese año.
We were all happy with that great news and for me it was the first time that something like that happened to me and it is very exciting, since more than 15 years have passed and we still have that great newspaper clipping that for many may be a piece of paper, however, it is very valuable for these dates. Nowadays newspapers are rarely seen and those that exist are digital, which does not allow us to keep something in person if it is of value or importance, so it is very good to have it and see how things are evolving in an incredible way, forgetting the good things that served for years.
A newspaper clipping that we will continue to keep for many years and just knowing that one is in the photos and the name is already happiness, since many dream of being in a newspaper as important as that. From then on I did not continue playing soccer and that is why the presence in the newspapers was never again, also today the number of schools that exist are many and you can imagine the number of children who are playing. This is a great memory for me, a little different, but I assure you that it is incredible to be there and what better way to be able to relive it today and see how a newspaper with that amount of years is talked about in an incredible way.
Todos quedamos contentos con esa gran noticia y para mí era la primera vez que me pasaba algo como eso y es muy emocionante, ya que han transcurrido más de 15 años y aún conservamos ese gran recorte de periódico que para muchos puede ser un pedazo de papel, sin embargo, es muy valioso para estas fechas. Hoy en día ya el periódico se ve muy poco y los que existen salen de forma digital, la cual no permite guardar algo de forma presencial si es de valor o importancia, por eso es muy bueno contar con eso y ver cómo las cosas van evolucionando de una manera increíble se olvidan de las cosas buenas que sirvieron por años.
Un recorte de periódico que lo seguiremos guardando por muchos años y solo con saber que uno sale en las fotos y el nombre ya es felicidad, puesto que muchos sueñan por salir en un periódico tan importante como ese. De allí en adelante no seguí jugando fútbol y por eso la presencia en los periódicos no fue más nunca, además hoy en día la cantidad de escuelas que existen son muchas y se podrá imaginar la cantidad de niños que están jugando. Este es un gran recuerdo para mí un poco distinto, pero les aseguro que es increíble por estar allí y qué mejor manera de poder revivirlo hoy y ver cómo un periódico con esa cantidad de año se conversa de una manera increíble.
