I drew some more monsters yesterday...
It all started with this fellow,
that ended up looking like a six legged, two armed vampire spider, about to go "Super Spider".
The next three creatures, all drawn on the same piece of paper, ended up looking like the result between spiders making love to crabs or vice versa...
I also tried to play tricks on whomever sets his eyes on these monsters, adding double ❌-es ( or crosses ) to the body of the crab-spiders/spider-crabs,
so they might wonder whether it's the beasts' eyes or not?
And if they are eyes, is the thing dead, or dizzy or experiencing something else entirely?
Last but not least, I decided to let the two things on top of the thing's body/head open for interpretation., although I added a little snake's tongue to the left 'thingy' on the final monster.
Tell me? What do you see in these two extensions on the crab spider on the second and third picture?*
P.S. Just like my previous Rediscovering the Monster of Disco, this was just another step of the getting back into the groove, rediscovering my Monster Mojo process, after having been distracted/ out of it/ ill-ish for a while.
I have no idea, as of yet, what this will lead to. I seriously wonder what this has to do with 'Disco' but I do know that I need to let it out and that it helps to share it with ( some of you in ) the world.
Just before drawing these, I messed up my painting ( that already felt messed up, as shared in the previous write up ) and I decided to cut out the Monster's head with a Stanley knife. I then broke the canvas in pieces and threw it in a trash bag.
Sometimes that is part of the process too.
I felt like bringing some ease and flow back to my drawing/ creativity and that kind of worked with these spider crab beings.

Supersaiyan vampire spider was kind of amusing. Think my favourite was the red one staggering around on the beach, partly reminds me of home and partly the sand and the water just worked really well with it.
Note to self: I should watch more Dragonball (Z).
The sand and water came to me intuitively.
The weather basically came into existence due to me trying to draw over a sketchie that my nephew had made on this page, months ago.

Haha! I didn't really mean it. Watched loads of episodes, over 2 decades ago, with my younger brother ( who is now almost 33 ).
It would now feel like a waste of time, I guess.
