¡Hola Amigos! Acá está mi breve post para compartirles mi experiencia haciendo Power Up, el día de hoy 1ro de octubre. Este día quedó establecido como el Hive Power Up Day (HPUD), y desde el mes pasado, la comunidad hispana se unió a la iniciativa.
Esta es mi primera vez haciendo Power Up, y solo dispuse de 10 HIVE, pero aspiro poder hacerlo en mayores cantidades en los próximos meses, pues no podemos escapar de la realidad de la situación económica que muchas veces no nos permite disponer de mayores recursos a la hora de realizar este proceso. Resulta que este último mes he estado acontecida con varios gastos médicos y tratamientos que requieren dinero, sin dejar de mencionar otros gastos generales del entorno familiar. Sin embargo, aunque es una pequeña cantidad, me alegra mucho haberlo hecho, pues según he ido leyendo y aprendiendo, esto traerá beneficios con el tiempo.
Hello friends! Here is my short post to share my experience doing Power Up today, October 1st. This day was established as Hive Power Up Day (HPUD), and since last month, the Hispanic community joined the initiative.
This is my first time doing Power Up, and I only had 10 HIVE, but I aspire to be able to do it in larger quantities in the coming months, because we cannot escape the reality of the economic situation that often does not allow us to have more resources when doing this process. It turns out that this last month I have been facing various medical expenses and treatments that require money, not to mention other general expenses of the family environment. However, although it is a small amount, I am very happy to have done it, because as I have been reading and learning, this will pay off over time.
Pero algunos se preguntarán cuáles son esos beneficios de participar en el HPUD; pues paso a compartirles lo que entiendo y he aprendido hasta el momento. Realizar un Power Up aumenta nuestra influencia en la blockchain, ya que nuestro Hive Power se ve fortalecido, en consecuencia, hace que nuestro voto sea más valioso y acrecienta las recompensas de curación, y les digo personalmente que se siente una satisfacción ser parte del proceso; y considero que este es el inicio de una senda más productiva tanto para la plataforma como a nivel individual.

But some may wonder what are those benefits of participating in HPUD; well, I´ll share what I understand and have learned so far. Doing a Power Up increases our influence on the blockchain, as our Hive Power is strengthened, consequently, it makes our vote more valuable and increases the curation rewards, and I personally tell you that it is satisfactory to be part of the process; and I believe that this is the beginning of a more productive path both for the platform and individually.
