Importance of time management at work.

The business world today faces many challenges but the most latent in companies is time, it is no secret that productivity and labor performance have changed dramatically this past year, placing productive companies to restructure each process both administrative and productive because of the pandemic COVID-19. It is worth mentioning that there is a generalized problem due to the reduction of employees, the change of work schedules and the need to achieve the financial objectives of each company, proposed to be reached in the short and long term. Similarly, companies working within South America are affected by the restrictions used to minimize the damage caused by the pandemic, therefore our country Venezuela is not a separate case, these restrictions that directly affect work performance by preventive measures such as: reduction of time at work, minimization of employees by suspected infection, etc. These are some of the many effects caused by the pandemic.

Due to this context, companies must face with the implementation of a contingency plan to cope with the crisis. On the one hand, to understand what is its nature, its scope and, derived from them, what would be the stages of the crisis itself, which grew to the point of becoming a global health emergency. Which leads us to this situation, where numerous economists consider that COVID-19 could produce damage to the economy in different ways such as directly affecting production, creating disruptions in the supply chain and the market, noting in an obvious way its financial impact on companies. In this sense the UN (2020) explains that "with the restriction of large-scale economic activity and more uncertainty, the global economy has reached a virtual impasse in the second quarter of 2020".

An example of this, are the various companies that operate under failures such as: not attending on time the assigned tasks, projects and objectives, this is due to not having clear the most important tasks in the execution of the objectives, the interests of the company are not defined, and if we add to this the reduction of time for workers to fulfill their daily work and the lack of human resources available in the payroll, If we add to this the reduction of time for the workers to perform their daily tasks and the lack of human resources available in the payroll, who cannot perform their activities in person due to the infection of the COVID-19 virus, we can notice consequences such as the reduction of work performance, the incompetence of the employees to assume important tasks because they do not have the time to do so, resulting in the inability of the company to adapt to the situation, and the possibility of failing to meet the company's objectives in the short and long term.

The failure to perform tasks efficiently, in the planned time, forces production companies such as VENLACA to develop models based on time management that allow to obtain an optimal work performance that has a positive impact when facing difficulties or uncertainty. The 2008 crisis already gave a boost to time management, especially in the most affected sectors, such as infrastructure, which took a very important step forward in this regard. The current crisis will probably find less prepared the traditional businesses, which have not needed to implement or evolve in some way the time control of the work or functions of the company or organization. It is therefore important to make an urgent effort to provide goods and services with the same quality in record time, thus the need to adapt to new business in a different way than companies are accustomed to work is born.

On the other hand, regarding the other service quality variable, the Vida Profesional blog relates that it is "the level of excellence that the company providing the service decides to achieve and maintain, according to the wishes and needs of its customers". With this, the author explains the need to offer high quality services, to make employees feel identified with their company, as well as to listen to and implement the suggestions and demands of users.
