I had never really thought about it, but if my shadow had its own personality, I imagine it would be annoyed knowing that we have to get up early every day. Plus, when I don't get enough sleep, I get in a bad mood, and putting up with my bad mood is not easy. That's why I know that if my shadow had a life of its own, it would do everything possible to make me go to bed early so it wouldn't have to put up with my mood in the mornings. Or, if its personality were similar to mine, it would be happy because for me, the best part of the day is when I get everything done and can lie in bed checking my phone and watching videos. That's when I lose sleep, and when I look at the time, it's almost dawn.
I'm sure my shadow would be as entertained as I am watching videos that I would also forget until dawn. It would happen to him just like it does to me, realizing that dawn is breaking when the light starts to come in through the window and the alarm starts ringing to get us ready to go to work.
