¡Cuchillos nuevos!
Unboxing de compra por MercadoLibre
No sé si a todos les pasa lo mismo, pero hace un par de años que disfruto mucho más ir de compras para el hogar que hacer compras de ropa y zapato. Y ese placer se incrementa cada vez que veo cosas que puedo adquirir fácilmente con envío gratis desde internet.
Desde que salió la opción de envío gratis MercadoLibre, ésta se ha convertido en mi tienda departamental por excelencia, y han sido innumerables artículos los que he comprado allí para darle forma a mi hogar, desde el grifo del lavaplatos hasta juegos de tomacorrientes e interruptores para todo el sistema eléctrico.
La cocina obviamente no fue diferente, hace un par de años que tenemos un cuchillo de acero inoxidable y uno de pan que fue regalo de una tía cuando empezamos a vivir juntos, pero lamentablemente ninguno sobrevivió a la mudanza, y casi sin exagerar hemos estado sobreviviendo con los cuchillos de mesa para hacer las cosas.
Así que hace unos días decidí dejar de una lado la pereza y volver a revisar por internet para iniciar la búsqueda de un set de cuchillos que se ajustara a mi presupuesto, que fuese de calidad aceptable y sobretodo que tuviera envío gratis, porque ya saben, amamos los descuentos.
Y luego de una ardua búsqueda conseguí un set de 6 piezas de acero inoxidable en colores pastel que me enamoraron a primera vista y justo acaban de llegar, así que los invito a acompañarme para ver qué tal está.
El set de cuchillos es marca Everiverh, modelo ER-0278, e incluye cuatro cuchillos básicos de cocina: uno tipo cuchilla de 8", especial para cortar carnes, hueso y cartílago, un cuchillo de chef de 8" que es de los más utilizados en el día a día para preparar todo tipo de alimentos, un cuchillo de pan de 8" y uno de 3,3" que se usa sobretodo para pelar frutas y verduras o cortar plantas aromáticas.

Adicionalmente el set trae una tijera de cocina con abrelatas a un costado de la hojilla y un pelapapas, lo cual me parece la combinación perfecta de funcionalidad.
Cómo de costumbre, una vez ya con los cuchillos en mano y después de un par de pruebas decidí comentarles ventajas y desventajas de la compra.
Hasta ahora el punto positivo de este set son las hojas de acero inoxidable, están súper afiladas y sí, ya me hice mi primer corte con ellos, así que si los compran ¡Cuidado con el filo! Además el precio está bastante bien ya que la compra fue por 6.9$ con envío gratis nacional, que si estás en Venezuela lo recomiendo enormemente.
El detalle que podría verse como negativo es que los mangos son de un plástico que se ve frágil así que tendremos que tratarlos con cariño para que nos duren un poco ya que los colores están preciosos y me encanta como se ven en la cocina. Sin embargo considerando el precio creo que es algo compresible.

I don't know if it's the same for all of you, but for a couple of years now I've enjoyed shopping for home goods much more than shopping for clothes and shoes. And that pleasure increases every time I see things that I can easily buy with free shipping from the internet.
Since the free shipping option came out, MercadoLibre has become my department store par excellence, and there have been countless items I've bought there to shape my home, from the dishwasher faucet to sets of outlets and switches for the entire electrical system.
The kitchen was obviously no different, we've had a stainless steel knife and a bread knife for a couple of years now that was a gift from an aunt when we first started living together, but sadly neither survived the move, and almost without exaggeration we've been surviving on table knives to get things done.
So a few days ago I decided to put laziness aside and go back to the internet to start looking for a set of knives that would fit my budget, that would be of acceptable quality and above all that would have free shipping, because you know, we love discounts.
And after an arduous search I got a set of 6 stainless steel pieces in pastel colors that I fell in love with at first sight and they just arrived, so I invite you to join me to see how it is.

In addition, the set comes with a kitchen scissors with a can opener on one side of the blade and a cap lifter, which seems to me to be the perfect combination of functionality.
As usual, once I had the knives in hand and after a couple of tests I decided to comment on the advantages and disadvantages of the purchase.
So far the positive point of this set are the stainless steel blades, they are super sharp and yes, I already made my first cut with them, so if you buy them, be careful with the edge! Also the price is pretty good since the purchase was for $6.9 with free domestic shipping, which if you are in Venezuela I highly recommend it.
The detail that could be seen as negative is that the handles are made of a plastic that looks fragile so we will have to treat them with care to last us a little as the colors are beautiful and I love how they look in the kitchen. However considering the price I think it is somewhat understandable.
So I hope to prepare many recipes with them and show you how everything turns out, for now I feel satisfied with this purchase because we have been able to incorporate interesting things to our kitchen.
