Today I come to show you the moments I captured while living a beautiful content creation experience with my sister, she really likes history and is always looking for information for her YouTube channel, so she knows many emblematic places in our own city that I myself did not know, that was how she took me to the Morillo Bridge, a bridge that I had never passed by and much less had I stopped to analyze in detail, but during this visit I learned many new things, for example that this is the first bridge built over the Cabriales River in Valencia (Venezuela) by order of a Spanish royalist general named Morillo, it was also built by prisoners of war when the Spanish general came to Valencia to rest and recover from a war wound. Before this, people had to wade the river to gain access to the city.

Hoy vengo a mostrarles los momentos que capturé mientras vivía una hermosa experiencia de creación de contenido con mi hermana, a ella le gusta mucho la historia y siempre está buscando información para su canal de yutube, así que conoce muchos lugares emblemáticos de nuestra propia ciudad que yo misma desconocía, fue así como ella me llevó al puente Morillo, un puente por el que yo jamás había pasado y mucho menos me había detenido a analizar con detalle, pero durante esta visita aprendí muchas cosas nuevas, por ejemplo que este es el primer puente construido sobre el río Cabriales de Valencia (Venezuela) por orden de un general realista español de apellido Morillo, fue construido además por prisioneros de guerra cuando el general español llegó a Valencia a descansar y recuperarse de una herida de guerra. Antes de esto la gente tenía que vadear el río para poder tener acceso a la ciudad.
I also took the opportunity to take some photos for my portfolio taking advantage of the good weather, hehe 😄, don't look at me like that, I love cloudy days, I hate it when it rains if I'm on the street but when the day is cloudy without raining I love it because it provides a fresh and different climate, it's as if the city became another, I don't know, it gives me that feeling, and in fact that's why I used those low angle shots, to capture the essence of the cloudy and gray sky that gave an aura of melancholy to the place.
Yo también aproveché la ocasión para hacer algunas fotos para mi portfolio a provechando el buen clima, jeje 😄, no me miren así, amo los días nublados, detesto que llueva si yo estoy en la calle pero cuando el día está nublado sin llover me encanta porque proporciona un clima fresco y diferente, es como si la ciudad se volviera otra, no lo sé, me da esa sensación, y de hecho por eso utilicé esos planos contrapicados, para capturar la esencia del cielo nublado y gris que le daba un aura de melancolía al lugar
This has usually been a place of recreation for Valencians for a couple of centuries now, here couples, entire families and friends would come to sit on the banks to chat and admire the scenery, because yes, back then (a couple of centuries ago) the Cabriales River was totally different from what it is now, as the passing of time, the irresponsibility of citizens and industrialization have polluted it, although even so it doesn't lose its mysterious charm. My sister and I imagine what this place would have looked like some two hundred years ago (when it was built). We have only managed to find photos from about 80 or 100 years ago and we realized that a tram even passed by there. How interesting! 😃 But given that it is also known that there were some deaths during its construction and also after the collapse it had in 1903, we also assume that this place at night must have a different aura and some gruesome stories that not everyone knows.
Este suele ser desde hace un par de siglos, un lugar de esparcimiento para los valencianos, aquí venían las parejas de novios, las familias enteras y los amigos a sentarse en los bordes a conversar y a ver el paisaje, porque sí, en ese entonces (hace un par de siglos) el río Cabriales era totalmente diferente a como es ahora que el paso de los años, la irresponsabilidad de los ciudadanos y la industrialización lo han contaminado, aunque incluso así no pierde su encanto misterioso. Mi hermana y yo nos imaginamos como se vería este lugar unos doscientos años atrás (cuando fue su construcción) solo hemos conseguido fotos de hace como 80 o cien años y nos dimos cuenta que hasta pasaba un tranvía por ahí ¡Qué interesante! 😃 pero en vista de que también se sabe que durante su construcción hubo algunas muertes y también después del derrumbe que tuvo en 1903, también suponemos que ese lugar de noche debe tener otra aura y algunas historias escabrosas que no todos conocen.
And although unfortunately some unnatural passersby still throw waste into the river and that is why it is not completely cleaned up, it is possible to see down there, in the middle of the turbulent waters caused by the previous rains, some herons and occasionally a turtle, so for me it was a super pleasant experience, not only because I spent quality time and recreation with my only sister, but because I learned new things and delighted in the landscape.
Y a pesar de que lamentablemente algunos transeúntes desnaturalizados aún arrojan desechos al río y por eso no termina de sanearse, es posible ver allá abajo, en medio de las aguas turbulentos por causa de las lluvias anteriores, algunas garzas y de vez en cuando alguna tortuga, así que para mi fue una experiencia super grata, no solo porque pasé tiempo de calidad y esparcimiento con mi única hermana, sino porque aprendí cosas nuevas y me deleité con el paisaje.
All cities in the world, no matter how small or large, whether they are very touristy or not, have a story to tell, and emblematic places like this one that, if they could talk, would surely surprise us by telling us everything they have seen.
Todas las ciudades del mundo sin importar cuan pequeñas o grandes sean, si son muy turísticas o no tienen una historia que contar, y lugares emblemáticos como este que si pudiesen hablar seguramente nos sorprenderían al contar todo lo que han visto.

Soy igual que tu, no me gusta la lluvia, pero los días nublados nos permiten disfrutar mejor de todos esos espacios que se encuentran en la ciudad, por otra parte es una lástima que los ríos no sean cuidados por los ciudadanos es una completa falta de conciencia.
