In my back yard lies a quiet treasure of vineyards and useful plants that decorate the land,and not only to decorate the land.but sometimes it serve as a local medicine which is the HERB
The vineyards stretch across a modest portion of the yard, their green leaves whispering to the wind and the grasses also produced a very nice and fresh Air to the society.
Some of the plant produced grain and fruit that are used as food and turned into home made
juice,and zobo. the leaves and the roots been used for local medicine, Many elders in my community believe that leaves wash the human system , and also heal them from fever, typhoid and malaria without spending much money.
The backyard vineyards is good at the same time Dangerous because reptile like snake and scorpion usually walk within the the vineyards.and the reptile also used to ran into the closest nigbours around the society. sometimes it also, beate and stinky them.
The backyard vineyards is more than garden to us in the society, it's an natural pharmacy and a cooking spices that helped in preparating our food.Every plants has is own specific function whether for healing or for cooking, and it connects me to a nature ,and also connects me to a culture. And also a space of peace, healthy living, and it gives me the taste that I cherish deeply.
