Hi Guys of LifeStyle!

Hi Guys of LifeStyle!
English

This Easter we had the opportunity to plan a trip to the beach to share with the family because a cousin returned after 4 years out of the country.

Many of us had been years without going to the beach so we all decided to sign up for this adventure, we spent 3 days in a row planning food, drinks, collecting money and making all the necessary adjustments to go quietly just to enjoy the day.

It is not very often that we travel at Easter because it is usually a bit dangerous as there are many people drunk at the wheel on the streets and in my family we usually spend these days at home, pools are placed for the little ones and we spend evenings with the family.

But this time was the exception and good thing because we had an excellent time.

At 4:30 a.m. I got up to take a bath, prepare my bag and breakfast.

My boyfriend also got up at that time to help me leave enough food and water for Kira since we could not take her with us because we were almost 30 people in the back of a truck and there was not enough space to carry her.

When we had everything ready we went outside the house to the meeting point to wait for the rest of the family that was leaving with us.

As always, there are people who are late and in my family it is always the same group of people, we were almost an hour late waiting for them. We had planned to leave at 6:00 a.m. to be at the beach around 7:30 a.m. and we ended up leaving the house at almost 7:00 a.m. We were like "sardines".

We were like ''sardines in a can'', all cramped together, with our bags on top of us, some carrying food containers, in short, there were too many of us. There were also 3 cars.

The trip took forever, when we thought we were close they told us ''there was still a long way to go''. I wanted to get there and sit down because I could no longer feel my legs for being on my feet for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

After a lot of riding on the road, we finally saw the beach, but we still hadn't reached our destination.

Minutes later we arrived. The men got out of the truck to open the gate since the beach was private.

When we parked, we started to get out and the kids ran out and ran onto the beach, almost none of them had ever visited a beach before and they were too excited.

We put the stuff down and started taking spots under the shade. I took advantage and took some pictures of the place since the time was perfect, I took pictures with some family members and of course with my boyfriend.

After breakfast we walked around the place and noticed that there were several dead fish on the shore and others floating on the beach, my family took care of taking them out and piling them in the trash because the kids were scared of them.

I had a few beers and after a while I decided to go into the water. I didn't take pictures of this because I was afraid to put my phone in the water and it was a good decision since there was a lot of coral in the sand and I fell several times and even cut my feet.

I sat down with my cousins and their boyfriends to talk and drink for a while and we saw that in a house next to the one we were in there were puppies and a monkey and we wanted to go and see them. The owner of these little animals started talking to us about life in that village and the things they used to practice before.

He told us the name of the monkey ''Pancha''. I was afraid to approach her as she was a bit stressed and aggressive. I was terrified she would bite me so I kept my distance.

We loved the puppy and we spent a lot of time petting him and taking pictures with him.

Later I went over to talk to the owners of the place we were at and they offered me a boat ride, it was supposed to be just my group but when my family saw that we were riding they ran out to get in too.

I have been on boats before but they always terrify me, the water scares me a lot because I don't know how to swim (actually there are many things that scare me) and this time they didn't even put life jackets on us. The whole trip I was almost crying from nerves until I saw that we were coming back and I started to calm down.

Even though I got scared I like to do activities that challenge me to overcome my fears because I don't like to be dominated by fear.

At about 3:00 p.m. lunch was ready, which took a long time because they had to fry almost 50 fish, cook 20 kg of yucca and prepare all the salad.

I sat with my boyfriend in a boat that was on the shore and there we ate.

After lunch I was pretty sleepy, so we spread out a towel on the sand and lay down for a while. There was quite a breeze in the place and that made me sleepy, I fell asleep for about 30 minutes.

When I woke up I decided to look for shells on the shore and got some nice ones to put in my house as decoration.

We had another short swim in the water and a few minutes later we were called to pick up everything because it was time to leave. A van had joined the trip so several people decided to go in it and we had more room in the truck. But, this van generated problems on the return trip, the engine overheated and we had to tow it back, this was difficult because both vehicles were very heavy and the ropes with which they tied the van were very thin and burst.

For this reason the trip took almost half an hour longer. Thank God we made it, I had a very bad sunstroke and my feet were very sore from the cuts, but we were happy to have enjoyed a different day with our family.

I hope you also enjoyed a nice Easter week.

Thanks for reading! See you next time.
