Sigo retomando el hilo de mi blog y tratando de ser más constante y por eso hoy quería contar lo que fue una de las reuniones más importantes que hemos tenido en ConVinArte.
Luego de nuestra tercera edición en el Vivero Nancy, fijamos una fecha para reunirnos con unas personas de una Fundación en la ciudad Vecina.
Nosotras no entendíamos muy bien en que trabajaba este grupo e íbamos a la reunión con muchísimas dudas, ya que la mujer que nos contactó nos dijo que eran una fundación y que querían realizar este evento para recaudar fondos pero no nos dió detalles.
De igual forma, asistimos a la reunión, nos levantamos bien temprano para llegar a tiempo pues de nuestro municipio al de ellos hay una distancia considerable, Estefania y yo nos comunicábamos por teléfono porque queríamos irnos en el mismo vehículo ya que yo no sabía exactamente donde era.

I keep picking up the thread of my blog and trying to be more constant and that is why today I wanted to tell what was one of the most important meetings we have had in ConVinArte.
After our third edition in the Vivero Nancy, we set a date to meet with some people from a foundation in the neighboring city.
We did not understand very well what this group was working on and we went to the meeting with many doubts, since the woman who contacted us told us that they were a foundation and that they wanted to make this event to raise funds but did not give us any details.
We also attended the meeting, we got up very early to arrive on time because there is a considerable distance from our town to theirs, Estefania and I communicated by phone because we wanted to leave in the same vehicle since I did not know exactly where it was.
Yo tuve que levantarme más temprano para llevarme almuerzo porque después de la reunión me quedaría en la academia para trabajar.
En el camino me encontré a Estefania quién de manera equivocada detuvo 3 carros pensando que yo iba en ellos.
De camino conversábamos sobre diferentes cosas y las dudas que teníamos acerca del evento y este grupo de personas.
Después de unos minutos llegamos al lugar de la cita, un Restaurante llamado Oliva Garden, ahí será el Evento. Nosotras llegamos primero, así que decidimos tomar unas fotos y plantearnos muy bien cuáles serían las preguntas a realizar.
Luego de mas o menos 20 minutos, llegó el primer integrante de este grupo. La persona que nos contactó, no podría asistir a esa reunión porque tenía una cita médica así que los encargados de al reunión serían sus compañeros.
I had to get up earlier to take lunch because after the meeting I would stay at the academy to work.
On the way I met Estefania who mistakenly stopped 3 cars thinking that I was in them.
On the way we talked about different things and the doubts we had about the event and this group of people.
After a few minutes we arrived at the meeting place, a restaurant called Oliva Garden, where the event will be held. We arrived first, so we decided to take some pictures and to think very well about the questions to ask.
After about 20 minutes, the first member of this group arrived. The person who contacted us could not attend the meeting because she had a medical appointment, so her colleagues would be in charge of the meeting.
Al llegar este integrante, de inmediato entramos en conversación. Él nos explicaba a que se dedicaba su grupo, nos contó que cada uno trabaja en sus propias fundaciones y que decidieron hacer una en conjunto.
Estos 4 amigos que han unido fuerzas para crear tal fundación trabajan en pro de recuperar el hospital público de su ciudad. Una bonita causa pues, las instituciones responsables no se hacen cargo y este es el primer lugar de atención al que acuden los habitantes en una emergencia.
Este grupo debe reunir más de 2000$ para conseguir más de 200 rollos de mango para reparar el techo del hospital y evitar las filtraciones. Cada rollo sobre pasa los 35$ así que trabajan muy duro para lograr su objetivo.
When this member arrived, we immediately got into conversation. He explained to us what his group was dedicated to, he told us that each one of them works in their own foundations and that they decided to create one together.
These 4 friends who have joined forces to create such a foundation are working towards the recovery of the public hospital in their city. A beautiful cause because the responsible institutions do not take care of it and this is the first place where the inhabitants go in an emergency.
This group must raise more than $2,000 to get more than 200 rolls of mango to repair the hospital roof and prevent leaks. Each roll is over $35 so they are working very hard to achieve their goal.
Así que entre tantas actividades que deben realizar para lograr su objetivo, ConVinArte es una de ellas.
Ellos nos pedían consejos sobre que deben ofrecer y que les recomendábamos para llamar la atención de las personas.
Nosotras les decíamos que deben conseguir mucha publicidad para llegar a la mayor cantidad posible de personas, ya que su objetivo son 60 participantes.
También les sugerimos grabar varios vídeos explicando la actividad y el destino de los fondos.
Por otra parte les hablamos de conseguir apoyo con los emprendedores para obsequiar productos de estas marcas en el evento y así llamar más la atención de los participantes.
So among the many activities they have to do to achieve their goal, ConVinArte is one of them.
They asked us for advice on what they should offer and what we recommended to get people's attention.
We told them that they should get a lot of publicity to reach as many people as possible, since their target is 60 participants.
We also suggested them to record several videos explaining the activity and the destination of the funds.
On the other hand, we talked to them about getting support from the entrepreneurs to give away products from these brands at the event and thus attract more attention from the participants.
Los dos señores con quienes nos reunimos para fijar todos estos puntos se mostraban muy entusiasmados con cada idea.
Pedimos un café y jugos mientras conversábamos. Entre la conversación nos dijeron el precio que fijaron para la actividad la cual sería de 25$, de los cuales 10$ serían para nosotras, con esto compraríamos los materiales y tendríamos nuestra ganancia.
Estefania hacía diferentes preguntas y yo otras. Luego de conversar un buen rato, fuimos al salón donde sería el evento.
El cual es bastante amplio. El encargado del restaurant nos preguntaba como querríamos las mesas ese día para organizar todo con tiempo en compañía de su equipo.
Quedamos en acudir al restaurant días antes del evento para organizar todo y afinar los últimos detalles.
Estefania y yo quedamos bastante emocionadas con esta propuesta pues si se logran la cantidad de participantes esperados, ConVinArte se puede posicionar muy bien esta ciudad y así expandirnos mucho más.
Mas adelante les estaré contando más acerca de esto.
The two gentlemen with whom we met to set all these points were very enthusiastic about each idea.
We ordered coffee and juices while we talked. In between the conversation they told us the price they set for the activity which would be $25, of which $10 would be for us, with this we would buy the materials and we would have our profit.
Estefania asked different questions and I asked others. After talking for a while, we went to the hall where the event would be held.
It was quite large. The restaurant manager asked us how we would like the tables that day to organize everything in time with his team.
We agreed to go to the restaurant a few days before the event to organize everything and fine tune the last details.
Estefania and I were very excited with this proposal because if the expected number of participants is achieved, ConVinArte can position itself very well in this city and expand much more.
