Ayer tuve la oportunidad de volver a mi antiguo colegio, el de toda la vida. Ese que fue testigo de toda mi trayectoria, desde que era una pequeña de 4 años hasta que me gradué a los 17.
Fueron 13 años de mi vida que estudié ahí, siempre fue el mismo. No tuve cambio de colegio ni nada durante toda mi época escolar y de bachillerato.
El motivo por el que fui, es que el mes pasado durante el evento Convinarte, me reencontré con una profesora de esa escuela. Se me ocurrió ofrecerle mis servicios como profesora de pintura y también incluí a mi compañera Elieska, que da clases de ballet.
El esposo de esta profesora es el director actual del colegio, y él aceptó la propuesta, por lo cual me dijo que le gustaría reunirse para hablar mejor el asunto.
Pautamos la cita para el día de ayer y es entonces cuando tuve la oportunidad de volver a pisar el colegio.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go back to my old school, the one of my whole life. The one that witnessed my entire career, since I was a little girl of 4 years old until I graduated at 17.
It was 13 years of my life that I studied there, it was always the same. I didn't change schools or anything during all my school and high school years.
The reason I went there is that last month during the Convinarte event, I met again with a teacher from that school. It occurred to me to offer her my services as a painting teacher and I also included my partner Elieska, who teaches ballet.
The husband of this teacher is the current director of the school, and he accepted the proposal, so he told me that he would like to meet to discuss the matter further.
We made the appointment for yesterday and that's when I had the opportunity to visit the school again.

Al llegar al patio principal, donde escuchábamos el himno nacional todas las mañanas y rezábamos (porque este es un colegio católico), muchos fueron los recuerdos que vinieron a mi de esos días.
Fueron años llenos de vivencias. No saben la infinidad de veces que he soñado con recorrer estos pasillos. Es una locura vivirlo nuevamente.
Al igual que en mi antigua casa, mis sueños siempre me llevaban a vivir algo dentro de este colegio.

Habían varios lugares que por más que intentara no recordaba con claridad, pude comprobar como eran realmente.
Lo mejor de la experiencia es que pude traer conmigo las fotos para verlas cuando quisiera y también así poderle enseñar a mi hijo como era mi colegio.
There were several places that no matter how hard I tried I could not remember clearly, I was able to see what they really looked like.
The best part of the experience is that I was able to bring the pictures with me to see them whenever I wanted and also to show my son what my school was like.
El colegio tiene un gran galpón que era el área de recreo, donde veíamos nuestras clases de deporte, también ahí se hacen los actos de navidad y fin de año.
Ahí se encuentra la cantina, donde hacíamos las compras de nuestro desayunos. Todo estaba idéntico. ♥
The school has a large shed that was the recreation area, where we watched our sports classes, and also where the Christmas and end of the year events were held.
There is the canteen, where we shopped for our breakfasts. Everything was identical. ♥
Al final del galpón estaba el parque de juegos, que era genial. Disfruté muchísimo en esos columpios y resbaladillas. ♥ Antes todo se veía tan grande y ya al verlo nuevamente lo vi tan chiquitico.
Para finalizar mi recorrido tuve la vista de otro de los patios de recreo, muchos fueron los momentos de diversión ahí. Fue lindo volver a mi colegio un sitio que me dio muchas experiencias, algunas lindas otras no tanto, pero todo eso que viví es lo que me hace la mujer que soy hoy en día.
En cuanto a la reunión, bueno todo salió muy bien, esperemos que pronto se comuniquen conmigo para darme buenas noticias y así poder volver a recorrer estos pasillos y seguir recordando parte de mi infancia. ♥
At the end of the shed was the playground, which was great. I really enjoyed those swings and slides. ♥ Before it all looked so big and when I saw it again it looked so small.
To finish my tour I had the view of another of the playgrounds, many were the moments of fun there. It was nice to return to my school, a place that gave me many experiences, some nice, others not so much, but all that I lived is what makes me the woman I am today.
As for the reunion, well everything went very well, hopefully they will contact me soon to give me good news so I can walk these halls again and continue to remember part of my childhood. ♥
