Ayer fue un día de diligencias, me tocaba ir como todos los meses al banco pero esta vez tenía otra cosita que hacer. Tenía planificado hacer la compra de los materiales para mi emprendimiento de bombones.
Tengo pensado vender para este fin de semana, que es el día de las madres, bombones rellenos. Desde hace bastante tiempo quedé con ganas de hacerlos y que mejor momento de comenzar con mi venta que haciendo bombones para esta festividad.
No soy partidaria de hacer cosas de acuerdo a las temporadas pero me pareció chévere intentarlo. Es como dicen, hay que salir de la zona de confort.
Entonces armé todo un plan de lo que haría y salí casi al medio día para el banco a hacer el primero de los pendientes que tenía en el día.

Yesterday was a day of errands, I had to go as every month to the bank but this time I had another little thing to do. I had planned to make the purchase of the materials for my chocolates venture.
I plan to sell filled chocolates for this weekend, which is Mother's Day. I have been wanting to make them for a long time and what better time to start selling them than making chocolates for this holiday.
I'm not a fan of making things according to the seasons but I thought it was cool to try. It's like they say, you have to get out of your comfort zone.
So I made a plan of what I would do and left almost at noon for the bank to make the first of the pending things I had for the day.
Normalmente llego, espero que pasen 1 o dos personas que hacen fila y salgo, pero esta vez el banco estaba repleto de personas. Ahora al parecer hay que hacer trámites para retirar con la cuenta de divisas y me tocó hacer una larga fila.
Esperé alrededor de 1 hora hasta que por fin me atendieron, por fortuna logré retirar el efectivo que iba a buscar. Ahora estaba lista para ir a mi siguiente parada, el centro comercial Costa Mall.
Normally I arrive, wait for one or two people in line and leave, but this time the bank was packed with people. Now apparently there are procedures to be done to withdraw with the foreign currency account and I had to wait in a long line.
I waited for about 1 hour until they finally attended me, fortunately I managed to withdraw the cash I was looking for. Now I was ready to go to my next stop, the Costa Mall.
En la entrada del centro comercial hay unas bancas y en ellas hay unas figuras hechas en bronce con las que las personas se suelen tomar fotos. Son unos viejitos que tienen una botella de cerveza en la mano.
Son bien chistosos e icónicos en el centro comercial. Una vez entré vi el local donde hicimos nuestro evento Convinarte y decidí tomarle una foto, pues dentro de poco estaremos haciendo nuestra tercera edición acá.
Una nueva aventura está por comenzar, pero créanme que será diferente.
At the entrance of the mall there are some benches and on them there are some bronze figures with which people usually take pictures. They are old men holding a bottle of beer.
They are very funny and iconic in the mall. Once I went inside I saw the place where we did our Convinarte event and decided to take a picture of it, because soon we will be doing our third edition here.
A new adventure is about to begin, but believe me it will be different.
De ahí caminé un poco hasta llegar a mi siguiente parada, un pequeño negocio donde venden materiales de repostería llamado Indulsa.
From there I walked a bit until I reached my next stop, a small store where they sell baking supplies called Indulsa.
Al llegar pedí a la chica que atendía chocolate para bombones, la idea era comprar chocolate con leche pero no había de la presentación de 500 gr.
Solo había de 200 gr y salía mucho más costoso así. De 500 gr había chocolate oscuro y esto me hizo dudar un poco. Luego de consultarlo con mi profesora me recomendó comprarlo y jugar con el dulce de los rellenos para equilibrar.
Me pareció genial la idea y así me decidí a comprarlo. Durante el proceso estuve hablando con la chica de postres y resulta que tiene un emprendimiento de eso.
La invité a participar como emprendedora en nuestro evento y se emocionó mucho con la idea. Intercambiamos números y así quedamos en contacto para terminar de ponernos de acuerdo con su participación.
When I arrived I asked the girl who was serving chocolate for chocolates, the idea was to buy milk chocolate but there was no 500 gr. presentation.
There was only 200 gr and it was much more expensive that way. In 500 gr there was dark chocolate and this made me hesitate a little. After consulting with my teacher, she recommended me to buy it and play with the sweetness of the fillings to balance it.
I thought the idea was great and so I decided to buy it. During the process I was talking to the dessert girl and it turns out that she has a dessert business.
I invited her to participate as an entrepreneur in our event and she was very excited about the idea. We exchanged numbers and so we stayed in touch to finalize the agreement with her participation.
De ahí me fui a la tienda total donde tenía pensando hacer un pequeño recorrido para ver que podía encontrar a buen precio para el relleno de los bombones.
Se me ocurrió comprar leche condensada de lata para hacer arequipe (dulce de leche) de la forma tradicional.
Salía mucho más económico así que comprando el medio kilo ya listo.
En el momento que estaba escogiendo las cosas se fue la luz y me tocó esperar unos minutos a que volviera la electricidad dentro del local, definitivamente no era el día para mi jajaja 😩
From there I went to the total store where I had planned to make a little tour to see what I could find at a good price for the filling of the bonbons.
It occurred to me to buy canned condensed milk to make arequipe (dulce de leche) in the traditional way.
It was much cheaper than buying the half kilo ready made.
At the moment I was choosing things the power went out and I had to wait a few minutes for the electricity to come back on inside the store, it was definitely not the day for me hahaha 😩
Una vez llegó la luz pude continuar escogiendo lo que llevaría. Tomé malvaviscos y dos latas de leche condensada, así contaría con dos tipos de rellenos.
En el momento no tenía idea de que hacer con los malvaviscos pero luego de buscar ideas en internet encontré algo genial.
Once the light came on I was able to continue choosing what I would take. I took marshmallows and two cans of condensed milk, so I would have two types of fillings.
At the time I had no idea what to do with the marshmallows but after searching the internet for ideas I found something great.
Ya luego me fui a pagar y así logré comprar todo lo que me propuse para mi salida. Aunque tuve algunos tropiezos en el camino logré mis objetivos.
Fue un día bastante productivo. ♥
Then I went to pay and managed to buy everything I set out to buy. Although I had a few stumbles along the way, I achieved my goals.
It was quite a productive day. ♥
