¡Hola Chicos!
El día de ayer me tocó ser maestra de inglés sustituta ya que mi compañera Elieska, quien es también la directora y maestra de inglés, estaba enferma y me pidió el favor de que la reemplazara durante la clase de inglés para que las niñas no perdieran clases.
Yo la verdad no tenía muchos ánimos de hacerlo pero me insistió tanto que no pude negarme. Así que un par de horas antes de la clase le pedí que me pasara el contenido que iban a hacer para este día.
Yo solamente debía dejar guiarme por los ejercicios y listo. Sé inglés pero es algo muy básico y no tengo conocimiento de los tecnicismo. Esto también me hacía dudar un poco si dar la clase porque si las niñas tienen una duda yo no sabría como responderla bien.
Pero bueno emprendí la aventura y me fui a dar la clase jajaja

Yesterday I had to be a substitute English teacher because my classmate Elieska, who is also the director and English teacher, was sick and she asked me to replace her during English class so that the girls wouldn't miss classes.
I didn't really feel like doing it but she insisted so much that I couldn't refuse. So a couple of hours before the class I asked her to pass me the content they were going to do for the day.
I just had to let him guide me through the exercises and that was it. I know English but it is very basic and I have no knowledge of the technicalities. This also made me a little hesitant to give the class because if the girls have a question I would not know how to answer it well.
But well I took the adventure and I went to give the class hahaha.
Al llegar solo había llegado una niña y esperamos durante algunos minutos a ver si llegaban las dos restantes.
Ellas trabajan con una guía, así que le pedí que la sacaran pues con eso se trabajaría.
Nos dimos cuenta en ese momento que solo habían dos ejercicios y se terminaban súper rápido. Ya después no teníamos otro para hacer y apenas pasaron los primeros 10 minutos de clases 😂.
When we arrived, only one girl had arrived and we waited for a few minutes to see if the other two would arrive.
They were working with a guide, so I asked them to take it out because that was what they would be working with.
We realized at that moment that there were only two exercises and they were finished super fast. After that, we didn't have another one to do and the first 10 minutes of class had barely passed 😂.
Así que nos pusimos a practicar la lectura de los textos que habían en esas últimas páginas de la guía para hacer tiempo mientras que Elieska me indicaba que otro ejercicio podíamos hacer.
Yo entiendo el inglés como les dije al inicio, pero ya de saber colocar ejercicios es otra cosa por eso me sentía tan perdida 😅.
So we started to practice reading the texts that were in the last pages of the guide to make time while Elieska told me what other exercise we could do.
I understand English as I told you at the beginning, but knowing how to place exercises is another thing, that's why I felt so lost 😅.
Elieska me indicó que le asignara dibujar unas cosas y escribiera la palabra que describía el estado del clima abajo. Eran palabras nuevas para ellas así que nos enfocamos primero en los dibujos y ya luego en la explicación.
Para no estar enseñándoles mi teléfono, preferí dibujarlo en la pizarra y que ellas lo copiaran. Aquí por fin estaba en un campo que conocía muy bien jajaja
Ellas lo hicieron en sus cuadernos y luego le agregaron color para que se vieran más lindos.
Elieska instructed me to assign her to draw some pictures and write the word that described the state of the weather below. These were new words for them so we focused first on the drawings and then on the explanation.
So as not to be showing them my phone, I preferred to draw it on the board and have them copy it. Here I was finally in a field that I knew very well hahaha.
They did it in their notebooks and then added color to make it look nicer.
La segunda niña llegó casi una hora tarde, y la otra no iba a asistir.
Nos tocó esperar que la niña se pusiera al día con las actividades que había hecho ya la otra pequeña.
The second child arrived almost an hour late, and the other one was not going to attend.
We had to wait for her to catch up with the activities the other little girl had already done.
Luego nos fuimos con la explicación, cosa que me tocó buscar por el traductor porque no sabía con exactitud que significaba casa cosa.
Así logré sacar adelante la clase, con el traductor de google y tomando las cosas con calma. 😂
Then we left with the explanation, which I had to look up in the translator because I didn't know exactly what each thing meant.
So I managed to get through the class, with the google translator and taking things calmly. 😂
Al finalizar la clase las niñas quisieron dibujar en la pizarra y por supuesto que las dejé. Ellas estaban bien contentas haciendo dibujos mientras yo recogía todo y apagaba los aires.
Ya luego se fueron a sus casitas.
At the end of the class the girls wanted to draw on the board and of course I let them. They were very happy drawing pictures while I picked everything up and turned off the air conditioners.
Then they went home.
Así terminó el día, logrando sacar adelante una clase que no domino. Se lograron los objetivos, las niñas no perdieron clases y yo le cumplí a Elieska para que no quedara mal con los representantes.
A final de cuentas la clase es dos veces a la semana y si pierden una se descontrola un poco el contenido del curso.
Al salir había un lindo atardecer lleno de nubes. ♥
That's how the day ended, managing to get through a class that I didn't master. The objectives were achieved, the girls did not miss classes and I fulfilled Elieska's expectations so that she would not look bad to the representatives.
At the end of the day the class is twice a week and if they miss one, the content of the course gets a little out of control.
On the way out there was a nice sunset full of clouds. ♥
