Hoy les voy a contar sobre mi breve visita a la tienda oami porque me encuentro en la búsqueda de nuevas prendas de vestir.
Hace un tiempo había hecho unas compras exitosas en esa tienda y la ropa que recordaba me parecía que iba acorde a lo que estaba buscando en el momento.
Así que luego de dar la clase de ese día cómo salí más temprano de lo habitual decidí irme a dar un recorrido por los pasillos a ver qué encontraba que pudiera servir.
El día anterior también había ido a comprar unas cosas pero eran de comida y le había preguntado a la chica que me estaba atendiendo a ver si habían prendas que valieran la pena o si habían ofertas y me comentó de que habían blusas económicas y pantalones, por eso me fui tan confiada al día siguiente.

Today I am going to tell you about my brief visit to the oami shop because I am in search of new clothes.
A while back I had done some successful shopping in that shop and the clothes I remembered seemed to match what I was looking for at the time.
So after class that day, as I left earlier than usual, I decided to go for a walk around the aisles to see what I could find that might be of use.
The day before I had also gone to buy some things but they were food and I had asked the girl who was attending me to see if there were any clothes worth buying or if there were any offers and she told me that there were cheap blouses and trousers, that's why I left so confident the next day.
Lo primero que encontré fueron unas blusas que decían que costaban $6 pero que gracias a la oferta que estaba vigente quedaban cada una en 2.5 dólares.
Yo me emocioné porque habían muchos estampados, y aunque no eran las blusas más elegantes para salir, estaban chéveres como para utilizar en el día a día.
Había tomado las que me parecieron más lindas y en los colores que se adaptaban a mis gustos y luego de eso me fui a los probadores para ver qué talla era la ideal para mí, pues tomé una M y una L.
Fue ahí cuando me llevé la primera decepción porque resultó que la tela de las franelas no estiraba y cuando intenté probarme la que era más grande, no logré terminar de ponérmela pues era muy angosta.
Así que decidí dejar a un lado el tema de las franelas y me enfoqué en ver qué otras prendas pudieran servirme.
The first thing I found were some blouses that said they were $6 but thanks to the sale they were on sale for 2.5 dollars each.
I was excited because there were so many prints, and although they weren't the most elegant blouses for going out, they were cool for everyday wear.
I had taken the ones that I thought were the cutest and in the colours that suited my tastes and after that I went to the fitting rooms to see what size was right for me, I took an M and an L. I took a M and L.
That's when I got my first disappointment because it turned out that the fabric of the flannels didn't stretch and when I tried to try on the bigger one, I couldn't get it on because it was too narrow.
So I decided to leave the flannel issue aside and focused on seeing what other garments would work for me.
En mi recorrido por la tienda me encontré prendas súper locas que definitivamente no compraría pues no es nada parecido a mi estilo y parecían más unos disfraces.
On my tour of the shop I found some super crazy clothes that I definitely wouldn't buy as it's nothing like my style and looked more like a costume.
De ahí luego me crucé con el área de trajes de baño y vestimenta para la playa, pues estábamos en épocas cercanas a las vacaciones de semana Santa y por ende las tiendas siempre buscan hacer promociones y sacar su mercancía playera.
From there I came across the swimwear and beachwear area, as we were close to the Easter holidays and shops are always looking for promotions and beach merchandise.
En mi recorrido me encontré con muchos estampados peculiares y algunas cosas que llamaban mi atención no estaban en el rango de precios que buscaba.
Encontré los pantalones que estaban en oferta y la verdad la calidad que tenían no era la mejor. Se notaba que era ropa que tenían guardada en almacenes que no había salido por alguna razón y estaban buscando la manera de sacarle algún provecho así sea a través de una oferta.
Me probé varios pantalones pero no encontré el de mi talla así que volví a buscar en los pasillos que me faltaba.
On my tour I came across many peculiar prints and some things that caught my eye were not in the price range I was looking for.
I found the trousers that were on sale and the truth is that the quality was not the best. I could tell they were clothes they had stored in warehouses that hadn't come out for some reason and they were looking for a way to take advantage of them, even if it was through a sale.
I tried on several trousers but I couldn't find the one in my size so I went back to look in the aisles to see what I was missing.
Encontré un pantalón que llamó mi atención que era lo más parecido a lo que estaba buscando y de inmediato fui a medirmelo.
Me he quedado bastante bien Y aunque el color no me convencía al 100% me parecía que estaba chévere por lo menos para alternarlo los días que me tocaba dar clase.
El pantalón se encontraba con otros idénticos y cartel que decía que costaban $3. Es por ello que me fui confiada a caja para poder pagarlo y en donde había una larga fila en la que estuve esperando unos cuantos minutos.
Al momento de pagar me lleve una decepción enorme cuando me dijeron que el precio no era el que estaba indicado en el cartel que había visto sino que costaba un poco más del doble.
Me molestó tanto esto que preferí dejar el pantalón y no comprar nada. Me dio mucha rabia que en esta tienda ofrecieran algo y que la mercancía tuviera un precio marcado pero cuando fui a pagar la cosa era completamente diferente.
I found a pair of trousers that caught my eye that was the closest to what I was looking for and I immediately went to measure it.
I was quite happy with it and although I wasn't 100% convinced by the colour, I thought it was cool at least to alternate it on the days I had to give classes.
The trousers were with other identical ones and a sign that said they cost $3. That's why I went confidently to the cashier to pay for them and there was a long line where I was waiting for a few minutes.
When the time came to pay I was extremely disappointed when I was told that the price was not the price indicated on the sign I had seen, but rather that it was a little more than double the price.
I was so annoyed by this that I preferred to leave the trousers and not buy anything. I was very angry that in this shop they were offering something and that the goods had a marked price but when I went to pay the price was completely different.
Para pasar ese trago amargo que tuve decidí ir por una barquilla y tomar el transporte de regreso a casa.
Ya luego otro día lo volvería a intentar y visitaría otras tiendas a ver si encontraba ropa acorde a lo que yo estaba buscando y también acorde al presupuesto que manejaba.
To get over the bitter pill I had to swallow, I decided to get a basket and take the transport back home.
Then another day I would try again and visit other shops to see if I could find clothes according to what I was looking for and also according to my budget.

Amiga qué lástima lo que te pasó, uno va con la ilusión de conseguir algo bueno y económico, y termina saliendo con una decepción. Es frustrante cuando no respetan los precios marcados, eso debería estar mucho más controlado. ¡Ojalá la próxima salida de compras sea más exitosa y encuentres justo lo que buscas! A mi me paso eso una vez en Traki y tuve que dejar todo.
