Hoy me tocó ir nuevamente a una clase del curso de panadería. He decidido darle una oportunidad a ver qué puedo aprender de nuevo. Estoy tratando de poner de mi parte para que no me resulte tedioso ir.
Desperté con mucho sueño, en los últimos días no he podido dormir tanto como quisiera y he venido arrastrando ese cansancio con el paso de los días.
Salimos super tarde de casa, ya eran casi las 7 y media y mi hijo entraba a clases a las 7. No me dió chance de hacer desayuno por lo que nos fuimos a un puesto de empanadas que queda frente al colegio para comprar el desayuno para él y para mí.

I woke up very sleepy, the last few days I haven't been able to sleep as much as I would like and have been dragging that tiredness with me as the days go by.
We left home very late, it was almost 7:30 and my son was going to school at 7:30. He didn't give me a chance to make breakfast so we went to an empanada stand in front of the school to buy breakfast for him and me.
Llegando al sitio para tomar transporte , había una muchacha con una bicicleta modificada con un cajón adelante al otro lado de la carretera. En el cajón iban dos niñas pequeñas sentadas vestidas de uniforme.
Ella estaba cruzando la avenida, que es una zona de mucho tráfico a gran velocidad. Me puse súper nerviosa porque justo en ese momento yo crucé y me tocó quedarme a un lado del paso peatonal, en medio de la avenida, porque la bicicleta cubría todo el espacio y si yo me colocaba ahí, ellas hubieran quedado expuestas.
Los carros seguían pasando a gran velocidad y la bicicleta se había ido hacia adelante porque el paso peatonal era un poco elevado. Yo sostuve el cajón de la bicicleta y luego que pasó un carro ellas pudieron terminar de cruzar.
Yo quedé con los nervios de punta, pero al menos salimos todos bien librados de la situación. Ya luego tomé el transporte público para ir a la escuela.

She was crossing the avenue, which is a high traffic area at high speed. The cars were still passing at high speed and the bicycle had gone forward because the crosswalk was a little high. I held the bike box and after one car went by they were able to finish crossing.
I was left with my nerves on edge, but at least we all got out of the situation safely. Then I took public transportation to go to school.
Al llegar ya una de mis dos compañeras de grupo había llegado así que fuimos adelantando las cosas mientras llegaba la que faltaba.
Este nuevo nivel lo estamos trabajando en individual pero nosotras tres, más otra que no pudo asistir a esta clase, nos unimos para apoyarnos con los gastos y trabajar juntas.
Es mucho más amena la clase porque no tenemos que tener contacto con las alumnas problemáticas y hasta los momentos hemos podido comenzar desde bien temprano con las preparaciones, cosa que no ocurría en el nivel pasado porque ellas, quienes eran las encargadas de los materiales, llegaban súper tarde. Por ende terminábamos super tarde también.
When I arrived, one of my two group mates had already arrived, so we moved things forward while the missing one was arriving.
We are working on this new level individually, but the three of us, plus another one who could not attend this class, joined together to help each other with expenses and work together.
The class is much more enjoyable because we don't have to have contact with the problematic students and so far we have been able to start very early with the preparations, something that didn't happen in the last level because they, who were in charge of the materials, arrived very late. As a result, we finished super late as well.
El único problema de trabajar así es que tenemos un espacio limitado, tanto en las mesas como a la hora de cocinar. Por eso nosotras nos organizamos para salir entre las primeras y que nadie se nos adelantara.
Cocinamos primero nuestras cosas y tuvimos nuestras preparaciones listas para que fueran de las primeras en entrar al horno.
Otros dos grupos habían terminado antes pero a la hora de meter las bandejas en el horno, solo uno de ellos estaban pendientes en la cocina.
Cómo no se tiene comunicación entre grupos, quienes estábamos ahí en el momento que abrió la profesora el horno aprovechamos de meter nuestras bandejas.
El otro grupo se encontraba bien entretenido conversando afuera de la cocina y por eso no se dieron cuenta en el momento.
Yo aproveché la oportunidad, sin hacerlo a maldad, simplemente estuve atenta en la cocina y ahí fue donde tuve ventaja. Cómo a los 10 minutos de estar las bandejas en el horno una de las señoras de ese primer grupo se dió cuenta de lo ocurrido, así estaba su nivel de atención.
Se molestó muchísimo pero sinceramente nadie iba a esperar a que ella se diera cuenta. Si no era yo, iba a ser otra persona que metiera su bandeja al horno antes que ella.
The only problem with working this way is that we have limited space, both at the tables and when it comes to cooking. That's why we organized ourselves so that we would be among the first to go out and so that no one would be ahead of us.
We cooked our own things first and had our preparations ready to be among the first to go in the oven.
Two other groups had finished earlier but when it was time to put the trays in the oven, only one of them was waiting in the kitchen.

She was very upset but honestly no one was going to wait for her to notice. If it wasn't me, it was going to be someone else who put her tray in the oven ant
than she did.
Mientras estábamos picando las verduras una señora se nos acercó y nos preguntó a ver si podía incorporarse a nuestro grupo. Ella había llevado verduras para aportar y también puré de papas para hacer parte del relleno.
Me pareció chévere porque mientras más personas incorporemos a nuestro grupo menores serán los gastos. Ella nos colaboró en todo el proceso.
Cuando estuvieron unas tortillas listas, aprovechamos de degustar junto al puré de papas que llevó.
Todo había quedado espectacular. Ya lo que teníamos en el horno estaba por salir solo tocaba esperar un poco más.
While we were chopping the vegetables a lady approached us and asked if she could join our group. She had brought vegetables to contribute and also mashed potatoes to make part of the stuffing.
I thought it was great because the more people we incorporate into our group the lower the expenses will be. She helped us in the whole process.
When the tortillas were ready, we took the opportunity to taste them together with the mashed potatoes she brought.
Everything had turned out spectacular. What we had in the oven was about to come out, we just had to wait a little longer.
Aproveché entonces de ir al supermercado a comprar unas cositas que me hacian falta y al llegar ya estaba todo listo para repartir.

Hicimos pizza con base de yuca y empanadas horneadas con masa de yuca. Todo había quedado delicioso.
Fuimos las primeras en irnos a casa, pues trabajamos rápido y desde que llegamos a la escuela.
A pesar del calor tan horrible que había, fue una clase tranquila y sin contratiempos y lo mejor es que cumplimos con todos los requerimientos del día.

We made pizza with a cassava base and baked empanadas with cassava dough. Everything had been delicious.
We were the first to go home, since we worked quickly and since we arrived at school. Despite the horrible heat, it was a calm and smooth class and the best thing is that we met all the requirements of the day.
