🥹 "What did I do with my first salary?"
Sometimes, a small amount of money holds more value than a million emotions...
That first paycheck wasn’t just money — it was my hard work, my identity.
Right after college, I landed a small job.
The pay was low, but the hopes were sky-high.
When the salary hit my bank account for the first time, my heart started racing.
I called my mother — she only said one thing:
"If your father were here today, he would’ve been so proud..."
That day, for the first time, I understood —
Earning isn’t just about money, it’s about responsibility.
đź’ So what did I do with my first salary?
Bought something? No.
Went on a trip? No.
I went straight home.
I bought my mother a new saree — in the same color my father used to love.
And when she wore it...
That’s when I truly felt like I had grown up.
🙋‍♂️ Have you ever done something with your first income that still lives in your heart today?
