Esta semana pasamos un rato por la playa a comprar algo de pescado y, mientras mi mamá escogía que tipo de pescados comprar, yo me alejé un poco de la muchedumbre para revisar si las plantas cercanas de uvas de playa, ya tenían frutos.
Como lo sospeché, si tienen, pero apenas están creciendo, aún nos falta un poco más para que se tornen amarillos y luego morados, que es el tono que nos indica el momento exacto de madurez.
Estas uvas me traen bonitos recuerdos de mi infancia, aunque no me guste venir mucho a la playa actualmente, porque cuando era niña veníamos frecuentemente, ya que mi mamá nació y creció en un pueblo de una playa muy característica de mi isla, se llama: "Playa el agua".
Como nació ahí, la casa de mis abuelos quedaba muy cerca de la playa, exactamente a 5 minutos de ella, así que, cuando íbamos a visitar a mis abuelos, los nietos aprovechábamos para irnos caminando hacia la playa a bañarnos un rato y en el camino revisábamos estas plantas para recoger algunas uvas, si ya estaban maduras.
Esta vez, mientras recordaba todo esto, aproveché el bonito clima y la vista que había y, aunque las uvas aún están verdes, me pareció que los colores, tanto de las uvas como las plantas, estaban muy bonitos y contrastaba con el mar de fondo, sentí que quedaron bonitas las fotografías, por eso decidí traerlas a mi blog y dejarlas aquí, mientras les hablaba de este bonito recuerdo.
Estas son de mis frutas favoritas de la vida, porque mezclan de forma natural lo salado que proviene de la arena y el aire del mar y se adhiere a la superficie, con lo dulce del interior de la fruta, lo cual terminan generando un resultado delicioso.
Espero volver a "Playa el Agua" cuando ya estén maduras las uvas y traeré nuevas fotografías, esta vez con muchos colores morados para mostrarles. ¿Y ustedes? ¿ya conocían las uvas de playa?

This week we spent some time at the beach to buy some fish and, while my mom was choosing what kind of fish to buy, I went a little bit away from the crowd to check if the nearby beach grape plants already had fruits.
As I suspected, they have, but they are just growing, we still have a little more to go before they turn yellow and then purple, which is the shade that tells us the exact moment of maturity.
These grapes bring back beautiful memories of my childhood, although I do not like to come to the beach much nowadays, because when I was a child we came frequently, since my mom was born and grew up in a town on a very characteristic beach of my island, it is called: "Playa el agua".
As she was born there, my grandparents' house was very close to the beach, exactly 5 minutes away from it, so, when we went to visit my grandparents, we grandchildren would take the opportunity to walk to the beach to swim for a while and on the way we would check these plants to pick some grapes, if they were already ripe.
This time, while I was remembering all this, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and the view and, although the grapes are still green, I thought the colors, both of the grapes and the plants, were very nice and contrasted with the sea in the background, I felt that the pictures were beautiful, so I decided to bring them to my blog and leave them here, while I told you about this nice memory.
These are one of my favorite fruits of life, because they naturally mix the salty that comes from the sand and sea air and adheres to the surface, with the sweet inside the fruit, which ends up generating a delicious result.

Hermanito siiii, son súper porque, como digo, tienen ese plus salados que hace que la mezcla quede sabrosa y, como dices, comerlas mientras ves el mar es otrooo nivel, de hecho hay unas matas que crecen en la propia playa y puedes comertelas mientras te bañas.

Armenia is completely landlocked, there is no access to the sea. I think it's quite limited in what fruit can grow here and finds its way here, especially since two of the nations that are neighbours with Armenia are hostile nations and constantly at war with it.

De mis lugares favoritos en la vida está está playa, tengo el privilegio de vivir ahí mismo y cada vez que tengo la oportunidad doy mi paseo, es que siento que el mar me recarga. Las uvas de playa a mi también me encantan llani y cuando es la temporada de ellas me voy con mis hijos y pasamos un buen rato comiendo esta deliciosa fruta. Leyendo está historia no pude evitar recordar esos paseos que hacíamos cuando íbamos a visitar a la abuela, era de los momentos más esperados de la semana. Tu casa tiene la mejor de todas las ubicaciones flor, además es la más bonita de todas y puedes ir a buscar las uvas que quieras cuando quieras, siento que es el lugar perfecto para hacer crecer una familia, lo malo es la lejanía de algunas cosas, pero vale la pena por respirar aire fresco y que exista silencio siempre porque está lejos de la vía principal. Creo que literalmente también hay como 5 minutos de tu casa a la playa ¿no?, yo quiero una casa ahì 🥺🥺
