A pleasure to greet all the members of this wonderful community, today I am pleased to share with you a beautiful activity that we carried out in the Educative Institute where I work as part of the celebration of International Book and Language Day, where we highlight the importance of literature, which allows us to nourish ourselves with knowledge and wonderful stories that make us activate our imagination and enrich our vocabulary, while we read a book.
For this event we had a recital of poems in Spanish and English; where those present could be in contact with the beautiful poetry of Andrés Eloy Blanco, Pablo Neruda, Federico García Lorca, Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, among others; we also exhibited books of stories made by students in both languages, and performed two songs in English, activity that closed the event with much joy by those present who joined the chorus of the songs.
It is wonderful to be able to carry out this type of activities since they motivate students and highlight their best virtues, for now I say goodbye to you, but not before inviting you to spread the love of reading, donating the books as you read them among your family and friends so that they have the pleasure of enjoying them as well, until another opportunity.
Un gusto en saludar a todos los miembros de esta maravillosa comunidad, el día de hoy me complace compartirles una hermosa actividad que llevamos a cabo en la Institución Educativa donde trabajo, en marco de la celebración del Día Internacional del Libro y del Idioma, donde resaltamos la importancia de la Literatura, la cual nos permite nutrirnos con conocimientos e historias maravillosas que nos hacen activar nuestra imaginación y enriquecer nuestro vocabulario, mientras leemos un libro.
Para este evento tuvimos un recital de poemas en Español e Inglés; donde los presentes pudimos estar en contacto con las hermosas poesías de Andrés Eloy Blanco, Pablo Neruda, Federico García Lorca, Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, entre otros; también se expusieron libros de cuentos realizados por los estudiantes en ambos idiomas, e interpretaron dos canciones en Inglés, actividad que cerro el evento con mucha alegría por parte de los presentes que se unieron al coro de las canciones.
Es maravilloso poder realizar este tipo de actividades, ya que motivan mucho a los estudiantes y resaltan sus mejores virtudes, por ahora me despido de ustedes, no sin antes invitarlos a propagar el amor por la lectura, donando los libros a medida que los vayas leyendo entre tus familiares y amistades para que tengan el placer de disfrutarlos también, hasta una nueva oportunidad.

Debemos enseñar a nuestros jóvenes a enamorarse de la lectura y amar a los libros, ya que en la actualidad solo viven metidos en internet y no conocen mucho sobre literatura.
Así es amigo, es una tarea dura batallar con la tecnología, ya que genera mucha distracción a los jóvenes, por lo que hay que fomentar ese hábito de leer libros desde pequeños..! Gracias por tu valioso comentario Saludos
