El martes al ir a la consulta del cirujano, diagnosticando lo antes expuesto, sugirió que la intervención debía ser de emergencia por la abundancia del sangrado que podría convertirse en una hemorragia, cosa que nos alarmó inmediatamente. Al principio entramos en shock porque el cirujano nos dió la suma de casi 800$ por la operación, dinero que no teníamos a la mano en ese momento, pero como angel del cielo, al cirujano que fuimos, puedo decirles, es una persona humilde, sencilla y completamente generosa con sus pacientes, así que pudo bajar costos, hasta 600$.

Con la fe puesta en Dios, todo salió perfecto, mi mamá le sacaron varios pólipos que tenía, los cuales se mandaron a biopsiar, para descartar, biopsia que costo 50$ extras al presupuesto que ya teníamos calculado, más los exámenes preoperatorios 12$, más tratamiento postoperatorio 20$ ( Antibióticos, antiparasitario, antiinflamatorio y protector gástrico).

La situación con mi mamá la habíamos postergado un poco con pañitos de agua tibia, como se dice en Venezuela, ya que,como pueden leer fue muy costosa toda la intervención, sin incluir los gastos en consultas médicas, insumos médicos... Entre otros. La verdad, no sé si llamarlo suerte, pero hemos salido beneficiadas al contar con una familia que nos apoyó en todo el proceso, bien sea en sentido monetario, como a nivel del apoyo con mensajes y buenas vibras. Pasamos momentos muy frustrantes, dónde gritamos, lloramos y nos preguntamos el porque y para que estamos pasando por esta situación, sin embargo, decidimos poner nuestra mente a buscar soluciones y no preocuparnos tanto por lo que no podíamos resolver.
