La historia es un punto relevante que define gran parte de lo que somos y nuestra esencia, hace una semana visita la Península de San Carlos y justamente en el Castillo que tiene el mismo nombre se encuentra un pequeño museo en la localidad detalles importantes implementos, que eran usados en esa época así como también una réplica de la llave del Castillo y otros detalles más importantes utensilios, que eran usados que tenía los lugareños y que fueron donados por los mismos para que estuvieran en este pequeño museo para entrar al lugar no cobran ninguna colaboración.

En el segundo salón a la izquierda podemos encontrar el área donde reposan diversas armas blancas, que eran usadas en la época, estas armas eran usadas durante la Guerra de la batalla naval del Lago de Maracaibo, cómo lo eran diversas espadas, cuchillos, lanzas, navajas entre otras, así como también, una réplica de la llave original del castillo de San Carlos como también diversas insignias, que llevaba los militares o soldados de la época en sus uniformes, en esta área se encuentran todo lo que eran las diversas armas blancas que se empleaban durante las batallas.

Esto que podemos observar es una pequeña cocina que se usaba en la época esta se empleaba, esta funcionaba con leña y gas fue donada por algunos isleños del sitio, así como tambien diversas caracolas petrificadas, piedras, tenedores usados por los soldados, estos ya se encuentran en mal estado debido a la anatiguedad que poseen, sin embargo estan en sus respectivas vidrieras para que se puedan seguir conservando.
