After a long and arduous bus journey spanning nearly 10 hours, our anticipation peaked as we approached the beach city of Cox's Bazar. Even before disembarking, the sight of the sea from our bus window filled us with excitement, as if the ocean itself was extending a warm welcome.
Upon arrival, we checked into our hotel room, greeted by modest yet comfortable accommodations. The simplicity of the room was overshadowed by the promise of beachfront bliss awaiting us.
The hotel's lobby exuded a refreshing ambiance with its verdant touches of indoor plants, instilling a sense of tranquility.
Freshening up with the complimentary toiletries provided, we wasted no time in heading straight to the beach.
Despite the mid-morning hour, the shoreline was serenely uncrowded, a perk of visiting on a weekday. We strolled along the sandy expanse, relishing the feel of the cool seawater lapping at our feet, and reclined on beach chairs, soaking in the coastal serenity.
Following a hearty meal of rice and curry, exhaustion from the journey overcame us, particularly my son, prompting an impromptu midday nap.
As evening descended, we returned to the beach, eager to witness the spectacle of the sunset. Nature did not disappoint, painting the sky with hues of gold and crimson, casting a mesmerizing glow over the horizon.

As night fell, we indulged in a sumptuous dinner before retiring to the comfort of our hotel, contented smiles gracing our faces.
As the day drew to a close, filled with moments of awe and wonder, we couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for the experiences we had shared. From the tranquil moments spent by the sea to the vibrant energy of the bustling streets, Cox's Bazar had woven its magic around us, leaving indelible memories etched in our hearts.
Despite the fatigue of travel, our hearts brimmed with the joy of a day well spent, marking the beginning of a memorable journey in Cox's Bazar.
That was an awesome view during the sunset. I guess that is another advantage of having a very big beach. Even though there are a lot of people, it doesn't feel crowded, and you can easily admire the surroundings.
