Warm greetings, Hivers! I’m writing to you today to share a personal reflection about those difficult and complex moments in life when we feel trapped by our problems and lacking in motivation.
Certainly, even though we try to maintain a positive attitude in the face of life's difficulties, it is undeniable that we often have to navigate through the darkest and gloomiest times. It would be ideal if we could get into a bubble that protects us from every unpleasant situation we may encounter along the way, but the truth is that not everything is always rosy. That darkness refers to so many things that hurt us and mark us negatively, such as physical and emotional pain, depression, betrayal, economic instability, etc. However, if we decide to remain stuck in these inconvenient situations instead of trying to move forward, they could get worse, since the mind is very powerful, and the more we think about and give in to negativity, the more difficult it will be to thrive.

It is necessary to get out of that trance somehow, and I am not saying it is easy, from my own experience I know it is not, but there is a popular expression that really catches my attention, which says that no evil lasts a thousand years, nor can anybody withstand it, meaning that with time everything passes.
Once we understand and accept that what is happening to us is part of life, we have to find a way to benefit from it, ask ourselves what we should learn from the whole situation, what is the moral of this episode we are going through, and that requires great resilience, the ability to adapt and overcome adverse situations and move forward with a positive mindset.
Not everything in life is black or gray; let's remember that life can have many colors, since the mere fact of waking up every day and being able to breathe is a new opportunity to do something meaningful with our lives, and if possible, also to impact other people for the better. Let's not get caught up in thoughts of defeat; we are beings capable of overcoming any obstacle that comes our way in life.

I really appreciate your message because it reminds me to stay strong.
I'm glad to read that. Thanks so much for passing by.
Cómo campesina de bajos recursos aprendi a no pensar mucho en los malos ratos, pues las necesidades no te dan tiempo, muy bonito tu mensaje espero pases un día calidad
Am currently in this season in my life. You have said it so well. Have learnt that Life is not always bright, and even when we try to stay positive, challenges will still come. But like you mentioned, the real issue starts when we allow ourselves to remain in that dark place. The mind is very powerful, and whatever we keep thinking about grows stronger.
Choosing to rise, even when it feels hard, is what helps us move forward. We may not control every situation, but we can control our response, and that response can shape our future. It is not about pretending that everything is fine, but about refusing to let difficult moments take over our journey. Healing, growth, and better days begin when we make the choice to keep moving. Thank you for sharing 🥰
Life, complex as it is in itself, is full of positive and negative cycles. We normalize positive things and, in that sense, we easily get used to them and become accustomed to them, but the real challenge lies in getting through the negative cycles with as little collateral damage as possible.
So we must do our best to overcome these adversities, because at the end of the day, one way or another, they will always be there.
