Hello, I'm stopping by because I like to share my day-to-day life and much more with you during this vacation here in Colombia. I'll tell you that this weekend I was with my daughter. To give you some context, I have two children who have been living in Colombia for seven years. I divide my week between them, taking turns so that they are both happy, and so I spend a few days with one and a few days with the other and with my grandchildren.

Hola, paso por aquí porque me gusta compartir con ustedes mis días a día y mucho más en esta vacación aquí en Colombia. Les cuento que este fin de semana estaba en donde mi hija. Para que me entiendan, tengo dos hijos viviendo en Colombia desde hace. 7 años el cual me divido los días de la semana entre uno y otros turnándome para que estén contento y así me paso unos días como uno y unos días con otro y con mis nietos,

And then at my daughter's house, they prepare these huge meals, which, as they would say in Venezuela, are a bit of a mess, with a little bit of everything on the tray: rice, beans, chorizo, meat, plantains, and pork rinds. Here, it's called a bandeja paisa. It was a huge tray of food, but it was super good and delicious. If I keep this up, I'm going to get even rounder, but we enjoyed it very much and it was very good.

Y entonces en casa de mi hija se preparan unas comelonas que para que contar y como dirían en Venezuela una grosería de plato, el cual tenía de todo un poco, era la bandeja de la comida, arroz, frijoles, chorizo, carne, tajadas y chicharrón aquí se llama bandeja paisa. Era la gran bandeja de comida, pero estaba súper buena y riquísima. Si sigo así, voy a ponerme más redonda, pero lo disfrutamos mucho y estaba muy buena.
