I have a clash of feelings with the cold in Chile, because on the one hand I really like the clothes you can wear when it is cold, because you can wear jackets, scarves, gloves, winter boots and I love that, but on the other hand, working with frozen hands is terrible, my fingers move slower. It rained all day yesterday and the cold was not normal, I suffer when I have to go to the bathroom and the tip of my nose freezes. My body doesn't have many antibodies because my grandmother didn't throw me on the floor when I was little to eat dirt haha, so thanks to that, I get sick faster and yes, I got sick and I'm coming off a little cold but that a cup of tea with ginger, lemon and honey, always cures me. Mrs. Isabel is a sweetheart, she loves to sew and while I was trying to work with my frozen hands, she got with me to fix some pants that fit me a little big. I jokingly told her when I arrived and today she took out her sewing kit and asked me for the pants I wanted to tuck in the waistband. For more people like that, they are worth gold 🫶🏻.

Tengo un encontronazo de sentimientos con el frío de Chile, porque por un lado me gusta mucho la vestimenta que puedes utilizar cuando hace frío, ya que puedes colocarte chaquetas, bufandas, guantes, botas de invierno y eso me encanta, peeeero por otro lado, trabajar con las manos congeladas es terrible, se mueven más lentos mis dedos. Hoy amaneció la cordillera nevada y el paisaje era hermoso, llovió todo el día de ayer y el frío no era nada normal, sufro cuando tengo que ir al baño y se me congela la punta de mi nariz. Mi cuerpo no tiene muchos anticuerpos porque mi abuela no me lanzó al piso de pequeña a comer tierra jaja, así que gracias a eso, me enfermo más rápido y si, me enfermé y estoy saliendo de un pequeño resfriado pero que una taza de té con jengibre, limón y miel, siempre me cura. La señora Isabel es un amor, le encanta coser y mientras trataba de trabajar con mis manos congeladas, ella se puso conmigo a arreglarme unos pantalones que me quedan un poco grandes. Yo se lo dije echando broma cuando llegue y hoy saco su kit de costurera y me pidió los pantalones que quería meterle en la cintura. Por mas personas así, valen oro 🫶🏻.
