My son invited my husband and me to go out for a walk and eat some cakes, so last Sunday we went to a new shopping centre in the city and it was a really lovely outing because there were Christmas decorations everywhere.
My daughter was with her friends, so she didn't come with us this time. We walked around for a while, took some Christmas photos, and then went to TDK, a franchise that is everywhere in Maracay, and when I say everywhere, I mean it, because there is one in every neighbourhood. In fact, this shopping centre has another shopping centre next to it, and there is also a TDK there, and they all sell the same things. I think they want us to get fat, haha.
We went up and when we arrived I was set on having lemon pie, but I liked this lemon cake better, and I didn't regret it because it was just right, soft, with a hint of lemon and a topping that was neither too sour nor too sweet. I really liked it and the portion was large. If I'd had milk with it, it would have been even more satisfying, but it was very good as it was. I loved the plate it was served on, as I've been to other places where they serve it on plastic plates, but here it was different, more elegant, I loved it.
My husband and son ordered mille-feuilles, which they said were fresh and delicious. I loved the table where we were seated because it was made of glass, so you could see below and to the sides. Of all the places I've been to so far, this is my favourite, especially at night, because I think it must get a lot of sun during the day.
The dessert display case was more empty than full. There were desserts, but you could tell that it had been a busy day. I want to try several things. The passion fruit pie, strawberry cake, and cañita are at the top of my list for when I return. We'll have to see how we feel and what we're craving for our next outing.

De vez en cuando no hace daño un dulce, así decimos pata calmar nuestro amor por el dulce o así digo yo, y es que si tengo que confesar que amo los postres aunque aveces trato de no comer tantos, pero la tentación es muy grande, mi hijo nos invito a mi esposo y a mi a salir a dar un paseo y comer unas tortas, asi que nos fuimos este domingo pasado a un centro comercial nuevo de la ciudad y de verdad fue un hermoso paseo pues habían decoraciones navideñas por doquier.
Mi hija estaba con sus amigas así que estaba vez no fue con nosotros, paseamos un rato tomamos algunas fotos navideñas y luego nos fuimos a TDK una franquicia que está en todo Maracay y cuando digo esto es literal, ya que en cada sector hay uno de hecho este centro comercial al lado tienen otro centro comercial y allí también hay TDK y todos venden, creo que nos quieren engordar jeje.
Subimos y al llegar iba con mi mente programada para comer un pie de limón, sin embargo me gustó más este bizcocho de limón, y no me arrepentí de ello pues estaba en su punto, suave, el toque de limón y su cubierta igual ni tan ácido, ni tan dulce, me gustó mucho y la porción era grande, si hubiese tenido lecha hubiese sido aún más gratificante pero así estuvo muy bueno, me encantó el plato donde lo sirvieron ya que he ido a otros y lo dan en platos plásticos pero aquí era distinto más elegante me encantó.
Mi esposo e hijo pidieron milhojas las cuales según ellos tamestaban nuevas y buenas, el asiento donde estábamos me encantonpues es de vidrios que se podía ver abajo y a los lados, de todos los tdk que hasta ahor he ido este es mu favorito, claro esta de noche pues de día pienso que ese lugar debe recibir mucho sol.
La vidriera de los dulces estaba más vacía que llena, había dulces pero se notaba que había estado movido el día, quiero probar varios el pie de parchita, la torta de fresa y la cañita están en mis primeros lugares para cuando vuelva, hay que ver como estaremos de animo y que se nos antoja para la próxima salida.
