Exploring the Outdoors
I'm back in the park again; my visits are more routine now. The day is a bit chilly; I see my friends resting at the foot of the trees, while others lie on the dry ground. It all seems deserted, and the atmosphere feels desolate. That's the impression I got from the pictures I took, but looking at it from another perspective, I see that the cats' indifference is due to their daily rest. Perhaps they're exhausted from their nightly hunts, since the terrain in parks is more extensive, making it harder to catch prey.

De nuevo estoy en el parque; mis visitas son más rutinarias. El día está un poco frío; veo a mis amigos descansando a los pies de los árboles y otros se encuentran en la tierra seca. Pareciera todo desértico y el ambiente se siente desolado. Es la impresión que me dio al ver las imágenes que capturé, pero viéndolo desde otra perspectiva, observo que la indiferencia de los mininos se debe a su descanso diario. Quizás agotados por la cacería que emprenden todas las noches, ya que el terreno en los parques es más extenso y se hace más difícil atrapar las presas.
Then, when dawn breaks, they arrive exhausted and drained. And at this hour, when I arrive to exercise, I find them in that state of excessive relaxation, recharging their energy. Today I left relatively early for a walk; since the park is fairly close, I walked all the way here and forgot to bring them some food. I realized, when I was looking for something to give this little one who approached me on the way, that I regretted forgetting the cat food.
Luego, cuando amanece, ya llegan agotados y sin energías. Y a esta hora en que uno llega a ejercitarse, los encuentra en ese estado de relax excesivo, recargando sus energías. Hoy salí relativamente temprano para caminar un poco; como el parque me queda un poco cerca, me vine hasta acá caminando y olvidé traerles algún alimento. Me di cuenta, cuando buscaba para darle a este pequeño que me abordó en el camino, que lamenté haber olvidado la gatarina.
Despite seeing many kittens along the way, the only one that approached me was the tiny feline I sensed was hungry. I was annoyed with myself for forgetting the food. Later, on the path, it was lucky because I saw a family sharing a snack in the park offer it some food; that gesture filled me with satisfaction.
A pesar de haber visto muchos gatitos en el camino, el único que se me acercó fue el pequeñín felino que presentía que estaba hambriento. Me molesté conmigo misma por haber olvidado el alimento. Después, en el camino tuvo suerte porque observé a lo lejos que una familia que compartía una merienda en el parque le ofreció algo de comida; esa acción me llenó de satisfacción.
Well, dear friends of the Caturday community, cat lovers, although the day continued with its strange atmosphere, I carried on with my routine walk, trying to see the environment from a different perspective to fully enjoy nature because we always have another day.
