Since my earliest memories of childhood we always had animal rescues of different types in the house. They ranged from numerous cats & dogs to horses, birds and even a crazy fun, loving & mischievous squirrel monkey called "Rubbish" for a few years.(I do not condone keeping exotic or foreign animals like this as pets at all & have a distaste for zoos but we rescued Rubbish from cruelty in a shocking household and unfortunately there were no sanctuaries for him to go to in those days as there are now. Naturally him being free in his native nature would have been first prize but was impossible and I tend to think we gave him his second best possible life in an animal crazy family of my single Mom, my two older sisters and myself. That little, massive heart guy gave me so much unconditional love, fun & games together and life lessons as a 7 year old child as every rescue of any type has always done for me. This never ceases to amaze me after what they were put through in their previous homes before coming into my life. To me, we as humans can learn so much from them and their ways.

I currently have two cat kids that have been family for about 8 and 5 years each.Skollie (Afrikaans word that means gangster) is the older black & white one and his brother, the ginger, is Spook.
I refer to them as "The Gangsters" as they are constantly up to mischievous, good hearted fun & games together.
They were rescued from seperate homes under terrible treatment conditions and each took about a year of loving, understanding & taking care of before becoming what they are today, out of their shells and dropping the barriers around their beautiful true nature & unconditional giving of love, daily fun & entertainment and life lessons. After what they were previously put through it is totally understandable that they were like this and is mindblowing how forgiving they have been to me & other humans after what they were previously put through by others.
They provide daily love, fun & entertainment & life lessons to me as I mentioned earlier and definately rock my world.
Spook is definately a poser and is constantly popping up in different places to act like a model or statue. Each time I see it I get a warm smile & laugh.
They both definately have a sense of humour and often laugh at me hehehe.

That sounds exactly like me! When my dog starts scratching the door, I jump and open the door for them! Not the other way around! The joy of having pets!🤣

Ahhh thanks so much @indayclara. It is amazing the classic characters they have developed after all they were initially put through. They love being outdoors like me but don't like getting wet when it rains. Funny story is that every time it rains they demand that I open the back door so that they can check if it is also raining there like in the front of the house hehe.

On a serious note, until my vote is worth a lot in its own right, this is a nice trick to hopefully help get somebody a few strong account votes :) I see you do HIVE through peakd instead of ecency - I wonder if it has a similar option to boost posts?
Peakd is a great front end and has great formatting options but no, there are no points to boost a post and it has no mobile app like ecency, thus the reason I reccomend ecency to most of my "disciples" lol. "Cult leader" wow.
@stevemuis. So Ecency gives you points for posting, commenting, voting etc while using their front end. You use y.the same keys to log on to it. You can then use those points to boost or promote a post.
Thanks a lot for that @zakludick. I am also on Ecency but haven't spent any time exploring it yet so that is a great help. Besides the bonus of being able to boost or promote, which is great......when I post via Peak it seems to show up on Ecency as well and (could be wrong) seem to get points etc.....do you know if this is so or is it more advantageous to post via Ecency?
I will try to ask but you could experiment and find out. Perhaps you use the Ecency tag and the get the points. Much like using the proofofbrain tag will earn you POB... if that is new to you then I need to write more guides...
