Guinness for me again this week lads. It feels like an age since I last got out for some Friday after work pints. Myself and a few of the lads headed up to my local for some of Arthur Guinness's finest creamiest pints. I won't lie to ye, they went down like velvet, but the hangover, Christ on a bike, the hangover was pure sand paper and I'm still recovering. I'm not cut out for heavy sessions anymore and we went at it at a fair tilt last night. Non of us have been out much, so we were like kids in a sweetshop.
A good fill
We all had a grand flake of pints and the bar man was very helpful, even holding my pint for me to drink, as you can see below - that's service for ya.
The Guinness flowed freely for the night and the craic was mighty with great stories passing over and back between us - some old, some new, all funny!
The auld egg ball sport was on the telly box as well, which was mighty, so we watched that and had the craic, as well. There was a lovely turf fire burning too, which is always a winner. That's all she wrote lads and I'm nursing a head, chat to ye next week.
Pull a chair and join us
Thanks to @detlev for this ongoing and excellent contest for beer lovers around the world. Why not join yourself? Just tell a story about beer with a few photos or drink a beer and tell us about it.
The photos used throughout this post are all my own taken on my Samsung smart phone
