This week we got together with friends, and the main reason for the discussion was the new token and the upcoming changes in the game Splinterlands, and, as usual - serious things are not discussed without beer.
My wife (@Nata86) got Bud and Miller again, her brother Sanya (@imperator217) got Carlsberg as always, and I decided to try an imported novelty - Lithuanian dark lager from Volfas Engelman brewery.
Their products in recent years are increasingly found on the shelves of our stores, and pleases with a decent volume of 1 pint, in contrast to the new Russian standard of 0.45, and a relatively low cost.
The beer consists of water, malt, roasted hops and sugar syrup. The latter gives the characteristic sweetness of bread kvass, so it is very easy to drink, and unlike conventional beer, where sweetness lags behind in the aftertaste, here it dominates. This is especially felt when the beer is "warmed up".
I can't call it a big minus, though. Beautiful color, lush caramel foam, very light bitterness - all add up to a very pleasant picture, and perhaps it would be appropriate to call this beer a girl's beer. Many of my acquaintances buy beer with fruit additives (which I do not understand at all) and this can is very close to it "in spirit".
Let me repeat - in our stores there are a lot of varieties of this brewery, and if you break it down - I really like what Baltic brewers do. They know how to do it and they do it with heart. And in fact - they have a rich history. For example, Volfas Engelman was founded by businessman Rafailas Volfas in the mid-19th century and over the years has repeatedly received medals at international exhibitions for the highest quality of beer and original recipes, which are now being finalized in the brewery's experimental laboratory and are released in limited quantities.
We don't have to go far, and only in our nearest supermarket 6 or 7 beers of their production have appeared in the last month, so there is something to taste and tell about it :)

I do see some of my friends talk about this particular beer but sadly i have not seen where it is sold in my country,i will love to taste it.

О, у меня сейчас это пиво №1, обожаю его, практически квас.
Да вообще у этой пивоварни хорошее пивко. Жена иногда себе берет BLOND - пробовал, очень лайтовое :)
