A Passion for Teaching
I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English, from Southern Peninsula College in 2022-2023. From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to the world of teaching. The idea of sharing knowledge, helping others grow, and making a positive impact on students’ lives has always inspired me. That passion led me to become an ESL teacher, and for almost two years now, I’ve been guiding students in their journey to mastering the English language.
One of the best parts of my job is meeting students from different backgrounds. Teaching English is more than just grammar and vocabulary—it’s about creating connections, understanding different cultures, and helping students express themselves confidently. It brings me so much joy to see my students progress and become more comfortable using English in real-world situations.
Another aspect I love about this career is its flexibility. Teaching ESL allows me to manage my time efficiently, giving me the opportunity to balance work with my personal interests. Since I can teach from anywhere, I’ve been able to make the most of my time while still exploring my other passions.
My Creative Side: Painting, Photography, and Music
Outside of teaching, I have a deep love for painting. Ever since I was young, art has been a way for me to express myself. There’s something magical about taking a blank canvas and turning it into something meaningful. Sometimes, my paintings reflect my emotions, while other times, they are inspired by nature or abstract ideas. Painting allows me to relax, unwind, and tap into my creativity in a way that words sometimes cannot.
I also love photography. Capturing special moments, beautiful landscapes, or even small details that others might overlook brings me a lot of joy. Photography allows me to see the world from different perspectives and appreciate the beauty in everyday life. Whether it's a scenic view, an interesting street shot, or a candid moment with friends and family, I love being able to preserve memories through my camera.
Music is another passion of mine. Whether it’s listening to my favorite songs, discovering new artists, or simply enjoying a calming instrumental track, music plays an important role in my life. It helps me focus, feel inspired, and even process emotions. Sometimes, when I’m painting, editing photos, or working, I’ll have my favorite playlist running in the background—it makes everything feel more enjoyable.
The Competitive Side: My Love for eSports
Beyond teaching and creativity, I have a competitive side—I enjoy joining eSports events! Gaming has always been one of my favorite ways to challenge myself, develop strategic thinking, and engage with others. The world of eSports is exciting, fast-paced, and full of opportunities to learn and grow.
I love how video games bring people together, whether through friendly matches or intense competitions. It’s not just about winning; it’s about teamwork, problem-solving, and continuously improving. Being part of eSports events gives me a thrill that’s different from teaching or painting, but just as fulfilling in its own way.
My Love for Animals
Another important part of my life is my love for animals. Whether it’s pets or wildlife, I find animals to be fascinating and full of personality. They bring so much joy and companionship, and I love spending time with them. Animals remind me of the simple joys in life—whether it’s watching a playful pet, observing nature, or capturing their beauty through photography.

So, why did I start this blog? Simple—I love sharing my experiences and connecting with people who have similar interests! Whether it’s about teaching, creativity, gaming, photography, animals, or personal growth, I want this space to be a source of inspiration and encouragement for anyone who stops by.

Oh gosh, you'd be the teacher I'd love to have! I used to be passionate about teaching but twenty years on I'm fed up with it. And if you can't be passionate, you just shouldn't teach.
