I am a sleep lover and I do get to sleep easily so I don't have the same issues as you.
But I read somewhere that it is important to set a routine until your body gets used to it. Otherwise, how about checking up with sleep experts, like a doctor perhaps?

As a student, I think it's not practical to consult anymore since it is really hard for me to be consistent with my sleep.
Errrr ehmmm how about looking for a support group? I mean in social med there might be people around who have issues similar as yours?
