I Had to Purchase Melatonin At 4 O'clock In The Morning

Despite closing my eyes and wanting to sleep, I found myself awake thirty minutes later. It's like my body doesn't want to sleep anymore. This is not the first time that I encountered this sleeping problem. Every time I stay up till four o'clock in the morning, I always have trouble sleeping. It feels like my body is so active already even though I haven't had any sleep at all.

I do not have the most organized sleeping routine for so many reasons. One of them is studying, I stay up late at night studying just to get high scores in exams but in return? It is like killing me. I wouldn't blame my bad sleeping routine all on studying, sometimes I just don't have the discipline to myself to the extent of using my phone extensively. One major reason that I think I developed this is because of the pandemic. Since during those times I was not spending most of my energy during the day, what happened was I had a lot of energy left making me up all night.

Since then, I have never been able to fix my sleeping routine because I lack self-discipline. It hurts to admit but this is my truth. I tried a couple of times fixing it but I always ended up failing in the end. Although it is not really a major problem with my parents, it is a problem for me. I saw the negative effects of staying up all night and having no sleep at all, I was always annoyed and irritated by almost everything that surrounded me and what's worst was absorbing the information when I was studying was already a difficult thing to do.

Yesterday, I had enough of my sleeping problems that night that I had to order melatonin at four o'clock in the morning. I told myself that this problem should stop already because it is already affecting my physical and mental health and my performance in school is not as good as it was before. Literally, I had to come to school last Monday without sleep at all. Fortunately, my friend had melatonin in his apartment and I asked for some. I drank melatonin at 11:30 last Monday and it felt so good. I had a very good sleep although I still had problems sleeping that night because it was too hot.

To be honest, I never wanted this for myself, to drink melatonin. Because I am afraid that one day I'll be dependent on it. But right now, I can say that I'll have the discipline to take this.

Anyway, I'll end this blog now by sharing the melatonin that I purchased. It is from Swanson, I tried it already and it works for me. How about you, have you tried drinking melatonin? What is your advice? Write it in the comment section.

I am a sleep lover and I do get to sleep easily so I don't have the same issues as you.
But I read somewhere that it is important to set a routine until your body gets used to it. Otherwise, how about checking up with sleep experts, like a doctor perhaps?

As a student, I think it's not practical to consult anymore since it is really hard for me to be consistent with my sleep.

Errrr ehmmm how about looking for a support group? I mean in social med there might be people around who have issues similar as yours?

Diba yung melatonin is about skin whitening siya? Pede rin pala sa pagtulog? Di ako nakakakapagfunction kapag four hours or less lang tulog ko hahaha like nung dati talaga hahahhaha tulog ko 3am tapos gising ko 6am kasi may isa akong defense tapos long quiz and interview. Di talaga ako nakapagfunction non kaya binawi ko kinabukasan. More likely, 5-7 lang tulog ko kasi nasanay katawan ko. Hope you able to pass that struggle, though!

I think collagen yung tinutukoy mo? Hehe. Yes mahirap talaga mag function kapag kulang sa tulog kaya I make sure na matulog when I have the time.

I can relate to this. I am currently studying for my exam, which is coming up in the first week of October.

You need to try to create a time to sleep naturally so you don't get used to that Melatonin.

Yes! I made sure to myself that I don't abuse taking melatonin. I just really drink whenever I don't have sleep.

huhu same!! bumili na rin ako ng melatonin 10mg nga lang sya tapos gummy rin para madali sobrang hirap talaga ayusin ng body clock lalo na kapag study kasi mas gugustuhin kong mag aral sa gabi kasi sobrang tahimik talaga anywayy sana maayos na body cloock mooo hugs!!

Di baaaaa!! Yan din ang reason ko why I stay up all night, kapag kasi during the day andaming disturbances.
