They say the only weapon that nobody can take it away from you is education. Education shape young minds to be more knowledgeable and attentive that can be useful in the feature.
Me, together with my classmates and teachers volunteer and offer our time to teach young ones who are struggling into reading. They are just like me back when I was in primary grades don't know how to read at all. I have this courage to teach them as well because I see myself to them that is so hard if no one will guide you.
Every Friday we will go to Naga Central Elementary School to teach selected students who are struggling in reading.
We are not just teaching them to read but for us also to have the experience on how to deal with these children there are the type of children who are so goofy in school and sometimes they need a special treatment to let their learning more meaningful the way that they will learn in fun way too.
When we go there, we will bring this big book full of learning materials. I really love this book because it is so big and the letters is so big too children will definitely love reading this, will when we teach, our learning materials must more attracting it gives them more eagerness to learn.
Since they are lack of school room resources we choose to teach them in the garden area which is convenient for us too, fresh air coming from the outside is directly flash into our body and by that it's more comfortable to the children although the noise outside might distract them but we will make it sure it would not be the barriers of their leaning.
It is so challenging when we deal multiple types of learners because you have to get know them so that we will know the pace of learning they So, what I did is that each of them I make friendly atmosphere first and let them know that there is nothing to be scared off because leaning is fun after all.
Grateful that I am part of this program, many young minds that I inspired to learn and grow shaping their futures. Not just teach them but to inspired them that learning has no limitation is just that they someone who will guide them throughout their journey.
So much love with these young kids, in this generation we should be more vulnerable towards there learning progress because as educator its our juty and motto to be with them and guide them in the right path and direction.
Thankful for our teachers who also guide us through this program they have a big role throughout our journey.
