My Challenge of Being a Program Management Team of Matatag Curriculum Training of Trainers: The Preparation

Hello everyone how are you? How's your Easter Sunday? Well, as for me Easter Sunday was very busy because I will be traveling to the venue of our Division K-10 Matatag Curriculum Training of Trainers for school-based training. I prepared all the necessary things before my travel like clothing, printer, bond paper, and other materials needed for the training venues and to be used during the session. Last Sunday, I woke up very early and waited for my process observer who was from Bantayan Island so that we could go along with each other in going to Cebu City. She arrived by 7:40 at Hagnaya port and we were able to depart from our San Remigio to Cebu City by 8:00 am. We took a ride by V-hire so that we would arrive at the city by 11:00 am.

When we were in the Hotel, the hotel personnel picked up our bags immediately at the taxi. Were so thankful because we were so loaded since I brought a printer, instructional materials, bond paper, and a lot more. I was absent during the dry run so I was not able to catch up on everything needed for the first day of the training except to prepare the table labels, the groupings, the four corners, the timer, the curriculum guide, and observer templates.

When we were at the information we were given rooms immediately. Other program management teams had not arrived yet, so were felt comfortable during their accommodation upon our arrival and the elevators were not in traffic. When we settled our belongings in our room we immediately took our lunch at the Marcelino Coffee. Were full and immediately proceeded to our room for the preparation.

After taking our lunch we bought coffee and a white blouse for our outfit for day 1 since we were not informed ahead of our outfit that we had our color coding of all planning management team. So we went to the market for a while and to bring some snacks while having our preparation.

After taking our dinner we continued our preparation, claimed our supplies and materials, and continued our printing and preparation for the training. I felt exhausted this time because I slept almost midnight just to finish everything and be ready for day 1 of the first batch of training. It's not easy to be a Class Manager of a training. It was a great challenge for me since I prepared everything as a Mode of learning on day 1, reminders of the trainees, monitoring your participants, and everything to make the training successful. I just prayed for good health and guidance so that I can perform my task well.
