RE: Pinoy Pride Eugene Torre - Asia's First Grandmaster

Hello @iamchessguy
I would like to give you some advice.
It is mandatory to indicate the source of each image individually, as long as they do not all come from a shared source. If you don't do that, sooner or later you will get in trouble up to the invisibility of your posts.

The easiest variant is to insert the link to the source under the image.

It works better if you put the following format under each picture:

[source](link to source)

And welcome to Hive😉

Sort:

Thank you for the advice. Should I give a link to the general website like:

or

Honestly, little minds and curmudgeons argue about that.
Some say so, others say so.

Some say that you can rely on the respect of copyrights on Wikipedia, others say that, nevertheless, sometimes the naming of the author falls under the table.

In your place I would mark every single picture with its source for two reasons.

  1. it becomes a routine, so much so that you even mark your own pictures with a source.

  2. so you exclude badly programmed bots and overzealous junior detectives as the cause of a downvoting storm.

With regard to your topic, I would also recommend you to what extent text citations are possible. But there I have no idea myself, unfortunately.

I hope I could help a little @iamchessguy

Have fun here on hive and good luck with your blog.

Thank you mate, you helped a lot! Will definitely heed your advise.

You are welcome😀
