Hola, hivers community! It's been a while since I'm posting my blog but now I'm back again for another blog to shared to all of you.I hope you will joined me as I shared to all of you my experience when I was in my Senior Highschool which is my work immersion experience.
Are you ready to witnessed my experience ? Well, let's dive in to my experience. And I hope you had a great time to read my blog hivers.
When I was in my Senior highschool journey during our 2nd semester we are deployed by our school to our dream career. They put as in the field where we can saw our future. In my case, I choose to became a teacher in the future so my teacher at that time put me in the school of Cebu Sacred Heart College it was a private school .The picture above is the school of Cebu Sacred Heart College where I am deployed and where I am trained and equiped.
This photo was taken during our first day in the work . This persons with me are my co-immersionist they also want to become a teacher someday . This individuals also had a big impact into my life as I step and start my journey of being a immersionist . We help each other's everytime we don't know how to do since it's our first day we just laugh we kept minding our mind that soon we will cope up everything. It's part of the process and training .
During my work immersion journey I am filled with learnings and experiences. I am able to teach young minds. My mentor let me experience how to handle kids in elementary ,so on this picture I am teaching them how to read simple words since they are in their grade 2 level of education. The elementary sections their are only had 6 to 10 learners each classroom unlike in public school it is 40+ students each classroom . I handled grade 2 students and they are just 6 learners.
As I've said they are just 6. This photo is taken when I let them colored the picture that I gave to them. After that I told them to go in front because I will captured some photo of them for memories and for my portfolios compilations.This beautiful learners is very respectful I thought that students in private schoool are so social like what others said but my expectations was wrong because they are so genuine and very respectful .Everytime I came to the classroom they made a pretty into their face and run towards me to say good morning and do bless or (mano).Every recess time they will gave me snack they always go to my table and offer me some snacks . Those things really fluttered me .They keep saying that I should not leave their school because they said that they are already comfortable to me .
I'm so happy and blessed that I've met them even for a short period of time .The days that I've spent in my work work immersion is not wasted because of this kind-hearted individuals they made my journey more unforgettable. I'm just very happy because they are the one who always told me that "teacher gelen lets take a photo " everytime they spoke those words made my day more brighter like it makes me more to love of being a teacher someday.
One time there is a event in the school as a immersionists we are told by the principal of the school to help them organize the event. It was fun experience my creativity really used because we are the one who designed their back drop . Me and my co-immersionist help each to became our work easier .We do much task during this day we go to the forest and found some anahaw leaves to made it a design ,we also distribute snack and arrange the chairs .Also ,during their games we are the one who will assessed the students . This day really indeed a exhausted but yet full of learnings and experience.
After the event we are given a certificate of appreciation for helping their event and made it successful.
Everytime I had vacant I always go to 3rd floor of the school .This is my favorite spot because I can see the nature view it's full of green.
After we finished our days of work immersioned we compile our portfolios we let the principal of the Cebu Sacred heart College signed our work during our work immersioned days . It was very pressured because we need to compile all the requirements before we live their school. We need to finished our portfolios so that we are able to back in our main school for reports and submission of our activities.
Before we leave the school we asked the principal to take a picture with us for documentation.I am amazed of the principal because she is very down to earth and very jolly she just act as normal people as we are she ride our vibes and we felt that she is just our classmate because really she is very funny to be with and we learn so much lessons from her.She always guide us and she let us had a freedom to enjoy our journey in their school as part of our training in the future.
During my work immersion days it was full of learnings, experiences,lesson and most of all I really enjoyed and made fun . Work immersioned really help me to shape me as a individual and it prepares me in the near future. During those journey I met new friends from school and I am able to teach young minds . Indeed ,It was unforgettable experienced that I can used and apply in the near future .

STOPWow, I am so jealous that you had an experience like this, we never experienced work immersion because of the pandemic. But it's nice that you did because you learned a lot.
