Hello everyone! How are you all? Since I am new here, I would like to introduce myself. My name is SK Shohel Rana, but you can call me Jahan or Jaib. I am 24 years old and I live in a rural area of Goshidangi, Bangladesh. Living in this environment comes with both advantages and disadvantages. I face many challenges and work hard in my daily life.
After completing my intermediate studies, I found it difficult to continue my education. I faced many challenges and hardships in my life. However, my childhood days were beautiful. I often reflect on my time spent in the serene beauty of our village. It feels like a picture from long ago, and I realize that many things have changed since then. I've experienced numerous events in my life that I could never have imagined.
During my secondary school years, I spent a lot of time chatting with friends, and I found great joy in those moments. I balanced my studies with various jobs, which allowed me to contribute to my family's needs.
I am currently working in agriculture and animal husbandry. I am also preparing for a job at a school. Additionally, I plan to start a side business.
In our village, agriculture is the primary profession, and almost everyone here is involved in farming. Since childhood, I have worked on our own land and supported my family by growing crops. Although I have had to give up many things, both big and small, I have come to terms with it and am doing well now.
I have continued my studies while also working, but I ultimately decided to drop out of school in 2022. I have many big and small dreams in my life, and I am making every effort to realize them. Although I am unsure if I will succeed, I refuse to give up. Amid all this, I have traveled to different places, including a memorable trip with people from my village.
We visited Kuakata Sea Beach, which is quite far from home. There were many villagers and some of my close friends with us. We all arrived at the sea filled with joy. The cool sea breeze refreshed us, and the shoreline sparkled under the sun. The beach was bustling with tourists, creating a lively atmosphere.
It was my first experience at a sea beach, though I had previously traveled in a small canal on the Beel River. The vast salty sea seemed to stretch endlessly, with nothing but water in sight. I was excited and jumped into the sea, feeling like a child again. It brought me immense joy, and I loved witnessing the smiles on people's faces around me. I spent a long time swimming in the sea, enjoying every moment. That day was filled with happiness, and a photographer was hired to capture our joyful moments. Unbeknownst to me, the photographer took many pictures of me, and in those photos, I looked genuinely happy.
Everyone in the area is enjoying themselves in their own way. I spent some time with my close aunt and discovered a surprising joy in life amidst the sea. I haven't traveled much in the past, but the places I've visited have turned out to be some of the best days of my life. The salty sea water, the waves, and the sand—all showcase the beauty of nature. I truly lost myself in the amazing splendor of the sea, and we all had a wonderful time there.
I spent a lot of time swimming in the sea, but I realized that winter was still lingering. After getting out of the water, I dressed in winter clothes and enjoyed the sights along the seashore. I took some photographs there, which gave me an incredible feeling. There was a wide variety of food available, but if we had a food budget, it would have been a challenge to take pictures without being surrounded by crowds. The location is very popular, and many tourists visit every day, enjoying their time there.
I checked into a hotel and took some pictures there. Everything I encountered was hilarious. I missed a lot of things during my trip because I had little travel experience. However, despite what I missed, the sights I saw and the time I spent there made it the best experience of my life.
I've been raising animals since childhood, and you could say it's my hobby. My love for animals has always been strong; for instance, I still care for about 30 pigeons and I also have a cow. Although many things have changed over time, I find great peace in caring for these animals. Despite my busy life, I have continued to look after them.
I'm also married, which has significantly increased my responsibilities. Overall, I’m enjoying my time with my family, and my main goal in life is to live happily with them. I make sure to spend quality time with my family and strive to bring smiles to everyone's faces.
I joined this platform because of my passion for writing. I have always been interested in writing and have contributed to various platforms before. Here, I feel free to express myself. My younger brother @omor11 has been a tremendous support in my journey on this platform, and I hope to continue collaborating with him here. I want to express my gratitude to him.
This platform allows me to explore my writing, creativity, and freedom. I can share my life experiences, sorrows, hardships, and emotions. I am thrilled to be part of such a community for the first time. My love for writing extends to the readers, and I believe that through writing and receiving feedback, I can achieve and learn a great deal.
