For today's blog was all about celebrating our accomplishments from barangay dance contest 3rd placer.
Our cash price was ₱2000.00 pesos, and I have 14 dancers and 3 props man. And they decided that each of them have to receive ₱100.00 pesos. So a total of ₱1700.00 pesos and the ₱300.00 pesos, will do a food trip.
We decided that we're going to cook banana fatty.
First, we get banana heart as more as we can. We look at our banana plant and to my neighbor's plant.
This is all the banana's heart we've collected. There are big ang there are small HAHAHA.
Cleaning time, it was a little bit tired. Because it has a sticky sap and I need to get it all. And as you can see it we get a lot of banana heart.
While I'm cleaning, I told them to make some fire. And boil the banana's heart for few minutes.
Check every minute, so it don't over cook. And I transferred it in a small basin. I smash it and put all the seasonings like flour, crispy fry and magic same. In my mind, I think I forgot something. And I'm right I forgot to buy an egg😭. But it was still ok, egg is optional.
Cooking time, I spent a lot of time at cooking. Our pan was small and I can Fry only at a time. And facing everytime at kitchen is so hot😭. I cook it all for almost two hours😭. Yes, for that long and it's a lot. I wait 3-5 minutes, so it will cook very nice. The more it's crispy, the more it taste yummy🤤.
Finally, eating time. Actually I made a gravey sauce, and I realize I'm not recording HAHAHA. And the sauce was almost make a pan cake, because I put a lot of cornstarch. Since we use wood, the fire was so strong and I'll just put more water to adjust its texture HAHAHA. And it was my first time making that kind of sauce HAHA.
We all gathered in our tablet put the banana leaves, put all the food with corn rice🤤, prayed and mukbang time🤤.
The rice was finished first, so I ask my sister if she has corn rice. Luckily it has, so the mukbang was continued🤤.
When we are finish eating, we clean and buy 3 juice with a lot of ice. And our tommy was so satisfied.
We rest for a while, and moving to videoke. Of course every Filipino celebration always have a videoke. And we sing and sing until the place was dark. Not just only singing but also dancing HAHA. And everyone go at their home with cravings satisfied and a lot of memories.

Yayy a recipe from poso that is common here in Northern Cebu. I used to cook that kind of food in my younger years when our house was full of banana trees. Im glad your team enjoyed the price your worked hard to earn. Congratulations😘❤️
Their are some people look's at puso ng saging like nothing. But for us, it's already a blessings.
We also cook that here. We mix it with other vegetables and then slice it in a tiny one then mixed with flour and other ingredients then fried it.😄
