A Night at Ayala Triangle Gardens

in Hive PH6 months ago (edited)

Hi guys! It's Sheree here, and welcome back to another adventure, hehe. Have you heard about the Festival of Light or Dancing Lights in Makati?

If yes, come join us again!! For those who are unaware of it or haven't been there I promise you that you'll want to come once I go over everything. 😄

It's November again, and for sure, not just in Makati, but in many places, popular Christmas attractions are starting to open. For a leisurely stroll with friends, family, or loved ones, folks will be drawn to the interesting options in other cities as well.

So here in Makati City, the Festival of Lights is open again as Christmas season approaches!😍

Thus, as Christmas draws nearer, Makati City's Festival of Lights is open once more! When my buddies and I decided to visit Ayala Triangle, we really didn't have a solid plan—we were just going to chill out—lol. We took our time till some of our friends could join us when their classes ended. Because Ange had a motorbike and the others were still in a jeep, we arrived at Ayala Triangle before 7 pm and had to wait for them to arrive at the meeting spot because it was rush hour. So, we parked the motorcycle and took a look around, hoping to find some food stalls on the side. 😋

So, here we go again, we were enticed by coffee, HAHAHAAH, because I received my final pay from my previous job. That's our first expense – we ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato and Iced Vanilla Latte, just the small size with one shot each to taste their creations and see if they're delicious. 🤣

So, while our orders were being prepared, we also took some pictures of their stall because it looked so beautiful. You really can't resist it, especially with the aroma of coffee in the air, hehehe. 😍

Their stall doesn't just sell coffee; they also have pastries. We didn't purchase any, though, since we didn't want to waste money and were worried we could be too full before dinner. Instead, we temporarily put up with our hunger, hehe.😉

For this size, their coffee is a little pricy, but girl, the moment you take a sip, it hits the spot! This might not be for you if you regularly get palpitations in your heart from drinking coffee. Still, this coffee comes highly recommended if you're the kind of person who needs to stay up late writing a thesis or for a job! ☕️

They have caramel syrup at the bottom, but we couldn't mix it well, probably to avoid spills. However, as we neared the bottom or finished about half of it, the sweetness was there. Hahahaha, but it's delicious, to be fair! It's not just the regular coffee that's sold and tastes like instant coffee, you know!😉

Welcome to Ayala Triangle Gardens

The Festival of Lights features a breathtaking display known as the "Symphony of Lights." This dazzling spectacle involves thousands of twinkling lights synchronized with festive music, and the lights dance in harmony with the music, turning Ayala Triangle Gardens into a radiant canvas of colors and patterns.

Festival of Lights in Ayala Triangle Gardens has embraced eco-friendly practices. The organizers use energy-efficient LED lights, promoting a greener and more environmentally conscious celebration. It's a brilliant example of how festive traditions can coexist.

Every November, as the air becomes crisp with the promise of the holiday season, Ayala Triangle Gardens comes alive with the enchanting Festival of Lights.

If you can see in the picture, it's not too crowded yet because usually, there are more people here in Ayala when December comes. So, if I were you, try visiting it while it's not yet crowded, hehe.

Tadaaa! Despite the fact that I'm just drinking one shot of espresso, my coffee still tastes strong, so I'm not quite done with it yet. So, I'm sipping the coffee slowly.😆

We just took some pictures here and watched for a while before heading to Glorietta for dinner. We finished listening to one set of music before leaving, and some of us have a curfew to be home early, haha.

There's a fountain-like structure here, or maybe I'm just seeing it again now, hehe. It seems new to me, though. We found it funny since, overall, it had a multiverse-like feel, especially when you crossed over to the other side. So I took a picture of it coz it's nice to capture this especially when your phone has a night mode.

After Ayala Triangle, we headed to Landmark first, planning to go to the food court. By the way, the route we took, if you're not familiar with Ayala Makati, is mostly through underpasses. Here's a picture on the left side as we walked towards Landmark. It's super nice here, especially for taking pictures because it has a Japan/Korea vibe, hehe.😊

And there you go, Because we were indecisive, we thought of just going to Shakey's in Glorietta. While waiting for the staff to accommodate us, we played at their arcade. Ten pesos is equivalent to one token, so there they were, healing their inner child again, hahaha.

Kidding aside, Ange got a dolphin from the claw machine, and I gave it to my sibling because, really, what am I going to do with a dolphin stuffed toy, right? Hahaha! So, while they were playing, the rest of us were deciding on what to eat here in shakey's. 😁

When we were seated, we also decided to have a gift exchange among ourselves since Christmas is just around the corner. They ordered the bundle – 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, 2 garlic bread, and I think it was 12 pieces of chicken. As for me, I just ordered a la carte, 2 pieces of chicken with rice because I don't want pasta, hehe.

I'd rather eat rice than pasta. I'm not sure, but I feel like rice is lighter in my stomach than pasta.

Since we finished everything, it was worth the money we paid, hehe! But the mall had to close at 10 PM. So, after we ate and did the gift exchange, we all headed home because some of us were already being looked for by their parents, hahaha 😆 They needed to go home because if not, they might not be allowed to join our next gala. Hahaha

Everyone has safely returned home without any scolding, and now, we're gearing up for our next outing, which will be our Christmas party – just a small celebration. While they finish up their academic backlogs (because celebrating Christmas with a pile of pending tasks isn't the most festive, haha), we're eagerly anticipating our next night out!

As we look forward to more laughter, shared moments, and exciting adventures with this awesome group, the anticipation for our Christmas bash adds an extra layer of excitement. Until our next escapade, let the countdown to our Christmas celebration begin!

CHEERSS! DASURV ang kape sa back-pay!

It has been x+y years already when we visited the Festival of Lights in Makati but the vibe is still givinggggg. Compared to the previous years, mas maganda na sya now in all fairness kasi back then lights lang sya na sumasayaw talaga walang pa display.

Makati underpasses 😢 ito talaga ilang beses na ako nagkaligaw-ligaw back then since di ko ma figure out ang palabas sa area. Though I enjoy the view as there's murals on the wall di masaya lalo na pag sira ang escalator.

True! Also, they've added more lights, so it looks brighter, and there are food stalls on the sides now. Hahaha, sometimes in the late evening, the elevator is already stopped, so there's no choice but to use the stairs.😆

Ang ganda naman dyan, its a good place talaga to have fun lalo with the kind od view it has. Wish to visit that place someday (✯ᴗ✯)

Soon! When you go to Makati, add it to your bucket list so you can visit it ;) You won't regret the view

I see you were having a great time with your fanily. I have never been to Ayala in Cebu but here in CDO the structure of the building is similar and decirations for Christmas are as vibrant and colorful as here too.

Wow, it's good to know that there's something similar to Ayala in Makati there in CDO. It would be nice to visit, but the travel distance is quite far :(
