Back to the City: Exploring the Wonders of the National Museum of Natural History in Manila

in Hive PH6 months ago

It's been a while, Manila! Hello, hive peeps! I'll just share our visit to Manila. Although I've been here several times since senior high school when we were required to go to museums for our activities, hahaha.

Anyways, welcome to the National Museum of Natural History! I highly suggest that you visit the museums in Manila if you haven't visited. Just bring a valid ID and your vaccine card. 😉

Our call time was early because we had other places to visit before heading to the museum.

Because my sibling was with me, and they didn't like the smell of the car, we opted to commute. So, we took the MRT, LRT, and then a tricycle to get to the meeting place.

We came here because we were invited, and it's probably been years since my last visit here, hehehe. So, upon entrance, you need to show your ID/vaccine card and leave your water at the counter. You can retrieve it later because they'll give you a number to claim it when you exit.

The biodiversity and natural heritage of the nation are on display at the National Museum of Natural History in Manila. It has a wide range of fossils, geological materials, and plants and animals. The museum wants to teach tourists about the distinctive ecosystems of the Philippines and the value of conservation.

One of the highlights is the huge structure in the center of the museum atrium called the Tree of Life! which symbolizes the interdependence of all living things hehe Visitors can explore various exhibits, including displays on marine life, terrestrial ecosystems, and geological formations. The museum also features interactive installations to make the learning experience engaging for all.

it's an amazing place for natural history lovers and an excellent learning opportunity for visitors of all ages.

I didn't take many pictures inside because in some areas, photography is not allowed. So, I just enjoyed our stroll inside.

We also had baby boy with us. I've forgotten his name; he's the child of Mama's officemate, but he's extremely attached to me, hahaha! He always stays near to me wherever I go, which is another reason why my photos aren't turning out well, hehe!😆

The last place we visited was the Tree of Life, and it was incredibly beautiful! It's definitely a great subject for photos, and the pictures I took have that Instagrammable effect! 😉

The amazing exhibits of the National Museum of Natural History in Manila, such as the Tree of Life, made us to enjoy a enjoyable tour. The moments captured, even with the occasional challenge of our adorable companion, baby boy, made the trip all the more memorable. Exploring the Philippines' abundant biodiversity and natural heritage made us realize how important it is to protect our environment for coming generations. ❤️

Don't pass up the chance to explore the treasures of the National Museum if you're in manila. It's not just a journey through exhibits but a chance to connect with the beauty of our planet. So, grab your valid ID, vaccine card, and a curious spirit, and embark on a journey through the fascinating realms of nature and science. Until next time, happy exploring!😊❣️
